While I agree that top 10's are a matter of opinion, in the grand scheme of things I thought Owen Hart's deatth and Hulk Hogan bodyslaming Andre were much more significant than the stuff with the Alliance. I understand that the Alliance marked the end of competitve brands (ie. WCW vs, WWF) but Owen's death made people realize just how dangerous wrestling cand be as well as the consequences of it while Hulk bodyslaming Andre almost single-handedly made wrestling mainstream.Just my thoughts though

Personal opinion, there's no way Hogan slamming Andre belongs at #5. Wrestlemania 3, and that moment in particular, made the WWF. You wouldn't have half these guys today without that. Without all the extra money that the WWF had made through the years thanks to what Hogan, Andre, Savage, Warrior, etc built in the 80's, Ted Turner and WCW probably win the Monday Night Wars and you're stuck with World Champion David Arquette or Vince Russo.
