  • Good!

  • Your sound has a lot of potential for improvement (That's a good thing). Great performance by the way! :)

  • make the grace notes more gracefull and not so quick. this is a very slow tempo so the note lengths can be a little more. Also work on not letting the high notes pop out.

USE A METRANOME WHEN YOU PRACTICE! lol

comming from someone who won a concerto contest on this song I do have to say you really need to get an A clarinet. It dosnt sound right without it.

well i wish you luck and keep doing what your doing because its not to badd.

  • It would really help if you do your tonguing more precisely. You air speed isnt quite fast enough. But your low notes are nice. Articulation is your problem , buck up :)

  • Good job!!! your tone is great threw the lower and middle registers, but kinda thins out on the higher notes. Remember to keep in tempo, don't stretch the phrases to much. on the grace note or the appagiatura play it on the beat, so the E is on the beat, or slow it down. get all the notes correct on the descending thirty-second notes in measure 34. keep practicing!!!!! very good!!!!!♫♫♫♫♫♫Ä

  • hey thanks for all the comments.. this was recorded a yr ago.. a yr plus i mean.. i will update my recordings..

  • Great job! Just keep practicing those scales--Motzart's not easy and you do a commendable performance.

  • Should be B flat in the first big run - nicely played though...

  • sounds good

  • Do you have the scores? I really wanna play it..

  • AHH! I can't play from high G and up, I can play lower though. xD It's so hard.

  • I think you could do better, you give a lot of time at some notes and others are too quik. Nice tone.

  • Great stuff! How many years have you practiced clarinet? Were you into any other instrument before that?

  • right, the air, the keys, blabla... there is only high school music teachers who didn't make very far to post such comments. you are great keep playing.

  • aww i love playing this piece :) you have make a really nice sound :)x

  • Your embochure is a bit stiff.

A slightly faster tempo, a wider range of dynamics, and a softer reed might help. Wokr the arpeggio. I like your clarinet! Sounds Nice!

  • in some cases you're not holding the dotted eighth note or quater note long enough...but i like your tone!

  • This peice for me was always an exercise in air support, and gileaf stated. A lot of people see sixteenth note passages and are wowed, but it is rare that people thing, man I bet he is dieing to just breath, haha.

  • haha. not bad. dont mind if i critique abit. its great that you play with emotions. but not to the extent of compromising your air support! you should blow faster air spd to prevent e harmonics from coming out before your actual note. like your register C. try getting an instructional video for exercises. like the tokyo kosei wind orchestra one. ive seen it before and even my tutor said he uses those exercises to train his air support. yeap. (:

  • ok, no. just because its adagio, does not mean its ad lib. there is a meter that u did not at ALL adhere to. soft and slow does not mean do whatever you want. there's interpretation of a piece, and there's not readin the music. brush up on some notes there, too.

  • alright, this was pretty good. You should put some key oil on the keys of your instrument to avoid that percussiony sound. I thought youd did good overall, but you need a wide range of dynamics. You have good tone, but your air support needs to be more consistentso you get a straight flow of air, producing a nice, rich sound. Good job though=)

  • Nice...U got feelings man... Plz upload more of yourself

  • usually on this piece as in most mozart, grace notes come on the beat, not midway through..

  • nice, when my mom heard u playing, she just rushed to the computer>.<

    she loves this song.

    not that shabby either^_^

  • kk i will post it soon... 1st movement and 3rd movement coming soon.. stay tuned folks =)

  • hey all thanks.. miyoko.. thansk for the critique.. well.. the main reason for me not to do much leading in is bcoz of no orchestra support behind me.. yupz. thats y i made some glitches.. hehe.. thanks anyway

  • xD! ahh, thats the hardest part in this piece when you're playing alone :] listen to as many recordings of this so you can get the orchestra's part in your head, you have to know who you are in one measure and what it becomes in the next, who you support and all :] lol I think I'm getting a little too touchy about this piece ._.;

  • mm...is it alright if I critique just a bit? Even if its you're interpretation is it alright?? O.O! er anyways, you should lead in more...maybe i'm not listening well enough but...errr...anyways...remember this; the rests are part of the music, so, make it sound like you're continuing, fade away just a tiny bit on the last note before the rests :]! Nice tone though!!!!
