  • Thanks for this demo Tim. I've been given a few sheets of the cut n dry & didn't know what it was for lol. I thought for making replacement pads for the distresss tool lol Now one question... .can you use the cut n dry with the gray bottom as well or no?? ty :)

  • Thanks this video was great.

  • brilliant!!!

  • Is it OK to use food coloring?I really need to know because that's all I have!I am not that good at cards and stuff but I am good at food! So the only type of ink I have is food coloring. Will it work? Please tell me!

  • @KathyLikesCandy We have never tried it with food coloring. It may work, but that is something you would have to experiment with.

@cinderella468 Liquid paint will not work.

  • i just splurged and got some re-inkers, 15 at one place and 25 at another. i'm bad, i know, but i figured it'd be a good investment. all i have is "brilliance" ones (3 of them) and that doesn't always work lol

  • I've seen this in the store and never purchased it because I didn't exactly know what it was for. Thanks so much for showing us! I was wondering if you could use it as the blending sponges for your Distress Inks. I have a very hard time finding them locally.

  • so kool I need to get some re-inkers!

  • wow! what an awesome technique.....I know I am going to have to try this at some point! Thanks for bringing the idea to us!

I'll give it my best shot...although it should be noted that I can already tell you it's not going to turn out as nice as the one here....lol But, rest assured, I will get the technique mastered come he** or high....wait. come rain or shine :)

    XXXX

  • That is really cool!

  • WOW this is a really really REALLYY neat idea! great technique, i will surely be trying this for the holidays! Thanks for sharing!

  • I have these for a few years now and I really do just keep these in ziplock types sandwich baggies. They last and last. I have made some for specific college stamps. It is a lot of fun to do. Just really make sure you only use waterbase dye reinkers because pigment ink do not absorb into the felt cut 'n dry.

  • wow this is so cool i didnt know you can do this , but its so hard to find your goodies out here in the uk

  • No, sorry. it is not available at Michaels. You can try doing a search online for "Cut N Dry Felt" to find it.

  • @RangerInd you dont really need the cut n dry felt. Really! all you need is a piece of sponge, a broken pen(with ink still inside), and a low plastic container. You put the small sponge in the container then drop the ink on it and you have a ink pad in less that 5 minutes!

  • Now that is a Cool Idea and saves you a lot of time! Can you purchase this at Michaels? TFS!

  • cool!

  • how can i store these cut'n dry felt partsto keep them wet inked...??

  • You can keep them stored in a plastic ziplock bag or any airtight container to keep them moist.
