  • Breathing through your nose-> is that because these are Yin qigong exercises?

    As far as I know Yang qigong exercises are about breathing through your mouth.

  • @kosombi Yes. That is the base of the style. However, the techniques are good for building both Yin and Yang types of Qi. Also, be very careful when studying a style which uses harsh breathing techniques. They can be very dangerous.

  • @samlhealer It all depends on you. Check how you are feeling. If you start to get over charged, get some water and take a break. I find that most people take awhile to build up to that. So it's OK, just proceed safely.

  • gosh..I am glad that a kind person sent me the link to this form of qigong. I am familiar with qigong on a basic level and understand energy..I have no problem with energy talk. I wonder does this method help to clear congested and blocked chakras? I have been told my ajna chakra and solar plexus are congested and my sex chakra is low in energy... good energy is more important than having loads of money.. peaceful mind and a healthy body and happy heart is important- and sharing.

  • I want to learn how to strengthen my kidney/adrenals, I think because of inherent weakness I have many issues including chronic exhaustion and phobia. Also do these speical qigong exercises help us to create stronger aura against others negative energies that can get into our own fields?

  • Is there a way to stop meridians from getting contaminated? There is a person I must see very frequently who continuously infests my kidney meridian on the leg, while stealing my bladder energy, and also dirties my lung and large intestines. I need to shield against this. What is the best way to shield? Extraordinary meridians I imagine would be helpful, but I was wondering if you have any sort of exercises or even spiritual things I can do to protect myself. Namaste, God bless

  • Don't look some much at protection. Protection is not really where it's at. Use the Nei Gong Hwa Jing or Dowsing and clear him of any negative energy. Then you won't have to worry about it anymore. Also, the more spiritual clearings you do the stronger you immunity will get to the negative energy. If you heal people of their problems there will be a lot less problems in the world.

  • Many people tried to devise systems for purging specific meridians with qigong emissions. This is by far the best out of all I've tried. It is very time consuming, but at the same time if someone where in a good environment, I bet they could do the entire exercise three times and clean many years or even a lifetime of bad energies!

    Anyway, I find myself using heart, pericardium, stomach, lung, large intestines, small intestines many times. Because people often times have toxic fields.

    There's a few things I don't quite understand as for I am very new to all this. Am I suppose to be completely relaxed when practicing qigong? Or is there anything in particular that i need to pay attention to? like tensing muscles, focusing my mind, etc...

  • There are many different way of practicing Qi gong as far as breathing and focusing of attention goes. For these exercises and most of the ones in the Shun Tao system, a state of "sung" or "No mind" is used. Although there are other methods of focus and breathing, REAL Qi gong is always relaxed.

  • Just do the postures for the organs you would like to work on. There need not be an order.

  • You do not need to see or feel Qi for it to work.

    Yes, you can learn to see and feel Qi.

    Just practice the techniques in this video and you will learn quickly.

  • I don't know what to call these things since I've never studied or read any material about this. Um, I hope by using the words I'v made up for what I see you can still understand my meaning. The assistance's energy is like a red haze and it started in his hands and then enveloped his body. Does anyone else see this? I've always seen people that give off this red haze. From here, I can definitely see/feel it. It's really present

  • Yes, I think I understand. You are seeing a redish haze around your hands and body when you do the excercises. If that is the case your root chakra is too open or strong. You might watch my video on the Shen Technique and then use it to correct the root chakra. If you need further help just let me know. Also, how is your right shoulder? And your right leg just above/around the knee?

  • my right leg shakes , I think it's because I'm not strong enough. haha

    I'll read up on the root Chakra as well. I don't see it from my hands because my energy is too low from negativity to have anything like that. The red haze is the assistant's in this video! haha =)

  • Often all I need to feel better is to cleanse the heart meridian on it's own. Is this good practice? Is it safe to do? Is there a risk of other dirty meridians running into the newly cleanse heart meridian? If so which ones?

    Also, what organs do you find the most possessions occurring in and what quality of possessions? Thanks so much Grand Master! Any reply would be amazingly appreciated.

  • First, you are using the heart posture correctly. That is why I taught it first in the video. I figured that if they just learned that one and pracitces it everyday they would be doing a great good and anything else would be icing on the cake.LOL

    Second, I find most possessions in the kidneys. The effects can range from weak willed and easly influenced to being totally consumed with fear and paranoia. If you would like, I am writing a book on the subject and I could email you a copy.

    If it is alrighti if I ask, where and when did this system originate? and who was the patriarch of this system?

  • Grandmaster Ku Kim from Korea. It dates back further than the Kim family. But, they made the most significant changes to the system, helping to make it what it is today. Before Korea it came from China and was know as the Lotus Palm system. When it came to Korea it was totally revamped by the Kim family over several generations. Then it was passed on to my Grandmaster who took it to America and that is where I learned it. I hope that helps.

    Are Shun Shen Tao exercises considered as passive or active ? Because I read that it is good to do the active Qigong then to meditate to store Qi in the Dantien.

  • I just did this one time without doing the full 9 breathing, and 1.5 minutes later I feel very happy and energetic. This is amazing, I think the world would be much better if everyone did this.

  • Shun Shen Tao mean "The Easy Spiritual Way". No run a round, no song and dance. Just real healing quick, fast, and in a hurry. Be Blessed.

  • It is a good idea to practice at least 2 to 4 of the postures everyday. If you have a condition that you are trying to fix, it would be a good idea to practice even more often and specific to the organ that controls the problems you are experiencing.     i have had horrible digestion/gastric problems most of my life, and now i have a clean colon like a young vegetarian- even my lactose intolerance seems to have cleared up!

    take THAT, western medicine...

    Mr. Harris is truly a saint for posting these videos free of charge, so if you have any common sense, you'll practice and become proficient; this is the only qigong on youtube that isn't psycho-bullshit.

  • @Gino777 I agree , I met him in person and Grandmaster David healed me with 1 treatment of his SHUN TAO SYSTEM and the second time just cleared up the last 5-10%. I was supposed to get neck and back surgery. He did for me what 20 other doctors , healers, acupuncture masters,etc couldn't do. TAKE THAT WESTERN MEDICINE!! I mean western POISON!

  • Uh... how often should I do this? Once my heart meridian is open, should I stop doing this?

  • Think of Qi gong like a form of energy hygiene. How often do you take a bath or brush your teeth? People need to learn there is an energetic and a spiritual hygiene as well as a physical one. So, I would practice at least one of the 24 postures once a day. But, you should really do 2 or more twice a day. The forms are short and potent so it doesn't take up a great amount of time. It may take 10 minute to perform 2 postures. I hope this helps you.
