Jesus is a curse to the human race. Christians have committed the worst atrocities against other humans in the name of Jesus. May the curs of God be upon Christianity.
What in the world does this have to do with spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ? 'Organically interwoven'? Sounds like another form of New Ageism to me. Is anything 'mentioned' about why Jesus came to the earth, and what 'His' message is for the 'whole' of mankind? God 'never' told us to 'adapt' ourselves to 'this world' but to preach the Gospel to 'All' mankind, whether they 'accepted' us or not. This earth 'is not' our home and we shouldn't get used to living here either.
FYI...New Monasticism and Emergent are two different strands of the reaction not only to postmodernity but also to what appears to be a faltering Christian church in North America. There are four strands worth noting: Missional, Mosaic, Emergent, and New Monasticism. They are not aspects of one another, though they may share in the conversation together. Tom Sine's book, "The New Conspirators" is helpful for further information. Peace.
