If I plan on paddling long distances, would this be ok or should I upgrade to the prowler?

The Prowlers will give you a little more speed but the Scrambler is a good day tripping boat in its own right. Best guess is a Prowler13/Prowler Elite4.1 will give you an increased paddling range of 10-20% over a Scrambler11
