wait a minute last time i checked a single person who takes control of a large group of people and corruptly leads them to a common goal was called a dictator however to take it that far is a bit out landish considering that anon does not force you to do anything they count on the fact that it is extremely easy to hop on your computerr and spread computer death
look anon is on one hand a innocent group who is peaceful and does not start physical conflict foe example protesting not looting or throwing fire bombs. on the other hand they are a group that claims to have no leader yet have youtube accounts and sites with one site managerr or one youtube account owner. this means that there is one person who calls the shots and one person who commands a group of people to acheive a common goal.
Scientology is a bait-and-switch scheme. People come to Scientology hoping for increased intelligence, improved personality, and help in dealing with personal problems. They don't come in to learn a system of beliefs based on science fiction stories, infestations of alien spirits and exploding volcanos. People deserve to know the content of the upper levels when they sign up.
The Anons in the protest consisted of a group individuals in peaceful protest against the church because of things they do, like support internet censorship and suing people for libel with an ulterior motive to oppress anyone who stands against them, not because they are a religion. If the Co$ isn't a cult it shouldn't behave like onALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD.
Anonymous is a group of people who think calling a religion a cult or hacking someone's myspace is going to change the world.Your so called legion is Nothing and will Never Be something. Take the masks off , GROW UP, and get a life, You RELIGIOUS BIGOTS.
anon are such hypocryts, they hate scientology yet they themselves go around to other people's websites and spread their hate(hence their name hate machine) and neo nazism ideals,
why must the U.S. keep retards like them around, why isn't there like an Anti Anon group that rounds Anon members up and turn them in
Anon are bunch of retards who say that they are everyone, that also means that they are scientologist as well as they are "everyone"
First off, while the core of Anon is a cadre of heartless, soulless machines bent on destroying every last newfag, furry, and opponent of /b/ on the planet they have never called themselves a "hate machine" so forget the "hence". Secondly... Neo-Nazism? Can you read??
Finally, Anon is not your grandmothers knitting circle, theinhtun1, and perhaps you shouldn't hold them to the same standards? Also, learn to write in English. Your point loses weight wheall glory to hypnotoad.
Have you looked into Scientology? Do you realize how closely their desire to influence critics and those they label "SPs" stands to fascism?
They have their own investigative force and security guards, they require "donations" for you to achieve the "clear" status and free your soul for eternity. They sue critics for libel and so-called religious bigotry or just have them offed. Especially former Scifags they hate them the most.
@theinhtun1 You called Anon neo-nazi then suggested there be an anti-anon group rounding up anon. You know if you replace anon with jews you get "Why must the U.S keep them around, why isn't there an anti-jew group that rounds up jews and turns them in" Now that, that right there is Nazism.
i would say that folks have a right to believe in anything that they want - as long as they know what they are believing in, and aren't abused and scammed out of their hard earned money.
i do not agree in people being promised things and made to pay large amounts of money and then not get what was promised - that is commonly called a 'scam'.
If Scientology was free, half of the problem would be solved. The other half requires getting rid of the Rehabilitation Project Force and the SP Hall.
Not to mention: Disconnection Fair Game & the use of P.I.s against critics War against Psychiatry (with imagery of blowing it up with hand grenades, and calls for 'total obliteration' of the psychiatric community) Front Groups Asbestos ridden Cruise ships Promoting a lack of medical care for conditions such as cancer Not allowing people to leave and get refunds without going through hard and disturbing 'security checks' and other rundowns etc. etc. etc. Believe what you want - lose the abuse.
I have been in Scn since 1969. I am CLEAR and I can tell you that Scn has far surpassed what I thought I would get from it. None of what you say is true. Its just your opinion but you are entitled to that. Nothing is free. It costs $ to grow the size of COS. Mortgage, promotion, payrolls, HUGE TAX BILLS, etc. Ever go to a religious college? Was it free?
they are classified as a religion, so how do they have huge tax bills there are tax exempt. Other "religions" over salvation for free, it reminds me of the old pyramide scams.
I guess you dont really know how the tax exempt laws work do ya? COS pays something like $50 - $100 million a year in taxes worldwide. And they are still tax exempt! Better do your homework on this one ...
Yes!I have been in Scn since 1969. And I am clear! I began levitating last year and now I sit on the wings of passenger planes and frighten the passengers!
Why dont you just get over your imaginary fear of Scientology, take a class, find out it actually really works, come back in here and tell everyone the truth, and get on with your life. get out of your racial hate group and start living.
Quick question - After almost 40 years in, why are you not further up the bridge? Did you stop? Why stop at Clear?
The racial hate group is obviously a wrong one there...as this certainly isn't about race or ethnicity and anybody can see that.
Another question - what happens if one wants to be a Scientologist but is a homosexual?
Last question - you said nothing was true, does Scientology not practice disconnection? You know there are reams of words from LRH himself stating as much...
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
(grin) ... I said I was CLEAR. I never said I stopped there. No Scientology does not practice disconnection. To answer the final question which was really kinda dumb .... I'm guessing the answer is you would have a gay Scn? Thats all I can think of. So why did you choose to be part of a racial hate group?
Muslims claim Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. Atheists claim atheists is growing faster. Big deal. Since when did anyone pay any attention to religions' sales figures?
And as for trying to convert others, I've never had a scientologist at my door or singing and rattling tins in the street for their roof, or had them visit me in school to tell me I'll suffer forever after death if I don't believe. What's the big deal? They sound completely standard.
The point about numbers is that Scientology vastly exaggerates their own numbers - they use it, so others critique it...that is all.
Scientology is in schools with their 'study tech', they are 'knocking' on doors with their mailouts, they do rattle tins on the street with their 'stress tests'. They do all the things you mention, including telling people inside that they will suffer great calamity if they leave.
Well done with your continued efforts at trolling my vids by the way...
Muslims vastly exagerate their own numbers. They say there are billions of them and yet will say in the same breath that any awkward ones aren't "real".
All manner of barmy alternative practioners give fake tests and treatments or speak to the dead or predict the future or promise everylasting life after you're in the ground.
I'm not trolling. I think what you're campaign is indulging in is immoral. Unpleasant to see. Fascist and popularist and immature and naive.
So we shouldn't do anything about education in our home countries because it is so bad in other countries? We shouldn't do anything about our homeless because there are millions without food? We shouldn't do anything about crime outside of the major cities because there are more 'important' places to spend 'all' the money?
People have been abused by Scientology - that much is FACT. If you don't like the fact that people want to do something about it, fine.
Immoral? How is it immoral for Anonymous to be trying to make people's lives better? There have literally been a few hundred people who have said that Anonymous made the difference and changed their lives for the good by getting them out.
Unpleasant? Your anti-Islam rhetoric is borderline racist and unpleasant to me...but please continue with it, it's your right.
Fascist? Well, it's more anarchist (hence the popularist part too).
Immature and naive? Maybe some people involved are sure, but there are many others who have spent months studying Scientology and how it abuses members, meeting with those who have been abused, thought about it well beyond what would be required for it to no longer be 'naive'.
In the end, it's about free speech - the Scientologists have a right to respond, and anybody who listens to both can make up their own minds.
What have you done to fight your cause against Islam? Anything?
I was in the church about 13 years. I would guess there are about 100,000 Scientologists active total at any time. This is simply because when Scientology boasts having presence in other countries they generally only refer to one or two orgs there.
Scientology is not, NOT, N-O-T the fastest growing religion on the planet!
That is CoS propaganda that has no basis in fact. By doing some REAL research outside of CoS promotional materials, any middle-school student can come to the conclusion that the membership numbers claimed by the CoS are ridiculously overinflated.
Have to agree here...10 million? Only if you count anybody who's ever bought a book from an org.
From the very detailed examination of this topic, one can come to a conclusion somewhere in the range of 50,000 - 1 million. It is VERY difficult to go above that bracket...even above 250,000 is a big stretch.
i think the numbers of active, going to session, Scientologists may even be below 50,000. Triple that if you want to include people who still affiliate but aren't active. But 10 million???
as a former Scientologist myself, I'll explain it to you. It's a religion that was created by L Ron Hubbard for the purpose to help man kind and set them free from there reactive minds, witch is supposed to be the cause of all your illnesses and accidents. That's what I would say is the party line. What I consider it to be is, a Cult that was created by L.R.H. to make money and control people to accomplish his psychotic aims of taking over the world.
To find out for yourself, i suggest that one use the wonderful power of the internet to see what comes up in a search for 'scientology'. Then, not only will you receive the party-line that everything is perfect; but you will also see the countless reports and personal experiences as to why this organisation is not exactly what it claims to be...
There is no need to spend your money, people have already done that and have left in droves - find out why.
Shahate I got into Scn from the internet! Its a great thing and the internet saved my life by introducing me to Scn ... the fastest growing religion on earth! I watched some of the anon videos and just laughed. I had personal exp with a few of them and the videos were not even close in telling the truth.
Glad you recommend the internet - as do i. Nobody should join Scientology without looking into what people say about on the 'net.
The internet is great, but remember that whilst within Scientology it is heavily filtered...you are forced to do so.
i'm quite interested in the 'fastest growing religion on earth' claim...proof please? And if your sources are Scientology ones that doesn't count you know ;) Census data would do!
I have been in Scn since 1969. I am CLEAR and very trained in its technology. I got this far by looking for myself and not relying on the internet. I read, I listened, I looked and found COS was perfect for me. I dont waste time proving anything. Why would I? I dont care if you dont do it. I did it for me and for me ... it works!
Xenu, Santa, Easter bunny ... who cares about that shit. YOU!!! We could care less and I dont care if you look into iy or not. Thats your choice. Attack it if you like. You cant do anything about it so you might as see what all the interest is in it.
What if your family said that they didn't want you to have anything to do with Scientology anymore?
As for your claim about Scientology being the fastest growing religion in the world...does that mean it's going to be as wide-spread as Christianity or Islam one-day? Do you think Hubbard will be like the next Jesus or Mohammad?
If i may ask, what do you do for Scientology nowadays? Are you in the Sea Org? How far on the bridge are you?
Shahate what if ur family told you to follow Scn? Scn IS the fastest growing religion on earth. And no doubt it will be as widespread because folks of those other faiths already take Scn classes. LRH will always be LRH. I am CLEAR, take classes, and my mom is in her 30th year in the Sea Org. What do you do for a living?
@toryluvslrh1: Thankyou for not, and i repeat NOT, giving any solid answer to Shahate. It just goes to reinforce what everybody else believes about you. You do not seem to have any basis to your arguments. And by saying that you do not need to "waste time by proving anything" simply goes to show that you have no way to prove anything you say.
In fact, you say that Scientology is the fastest growing religion, however, former core followers have leaked to the press that since 1970, church numbers have dwindled and core membership is now no higher than 500000, whereas Islam now numbers over 6million in the US alone, with thousands joining every year! Ouch, that seems to be proof against your claims. any word in retaliation?
Fair Game policy was created by L. Ron Hubbard when his organization came under attack in the mid sixties. It is, in all truth, a license to slander/blackmail/discredit and all too often, destroy! Wikipedia the fair game policy, it's all there in greater detail that I can supply here.
It wouldn't be hard for someone to make one over there too i guess. i just know that there are one or two people over here that source them for everyone (probably make a bit of profit on it too)...
What are your crimes Janet? What have you written down to be put away in a file that may one day be used against you should you ever decide to leave Scientology?
For that matter...why didn't your superior communication and intention skills work on the police sergeant in my February video? How are those OT powers going for you these days?
This is probably a waste of time, but isn't it a remarkably large assumption to believe that these people all have hidden crimes?
And even if they were all baby-eating killers it wouldn't change the truth content of their arguments against Scientology.
They wear masks because there is a proven track record of members of Scientology harassing those who use their free speech to criticise it. I know it's your religion but it's not above criticism. Live with it.
The problem with Anon is simple: They're afraid to take responsibility for their actions. They make false claims and later don't want to face the consequences of their action.
If they are making 'false claims' why are they not being sued for libel?
There are more and more people taking off their masks at these protests, it's only a matter of time before nobody is afraid of Scientology any longer...why should someone be afraid of a church in the first place i ask you?
Google is your friend - unless of course your internet is censored by your church...sounds like the opposite of freedom to me.
Just for the record, he has been at each subsequent protest. Where have you been oschaper? Where has Scientology been? Why are you hiding from these people? What are your crimes...?
Sorry but I guess London is a bit far off since I rather enjoy the SoCal Org's. But on the lighter sight, Yes I admit, I broke the speed limit today on I-5 (but was not caught by CHP).
i walked straight past th scientology church the other day while iw as on a school trip, i looked in the window and there was shit loads of Dianetics books and i was like OMG HAHA! ytmnd! i photoed the books then looked up at the massive sign and some one inside was lookin at me funny so i smiled like a tit at him and kept walkin a few stpes later i looked back and he had his head poked round the corner watching me walk away. freaky twat
bernski69: LOL @ scifags who take the Faux News 11 shit seriously. Anon was in on it and the shit was crafted purely for the lulz. Anon are not "cyber terrorists" or "hackers on steroids." Anon is racist? The Habbo shit was about FIGHTING racism (trufax, look up the ED article). Anon is homophobic? Riiight, that must be why they protested the Westboro 'God Hates Fags' cult in Hawaii. Rick-rolling a retarded old hatemongering preacher or thieving alien cults is hardly "terrorism" but it is lulzy.
I have to say oschaper is such a scifag, he always I mean always contradicts himself. One moment he will say I'm against freedom speech, then the next his bitching about how christians are like nazis. Oschaper also seems to ask a question with any other question, after awhile it seems to get annoying. He never quite comes out with it and says that he hates christianty and thinks that critics of $cientology as biggots. He also seems to think Co$ is the best thing on the earth sense water and tits
There is no contradiction at all. Christians can be Nazis and I respect their freedom to voice their opinion. Remember the Jewish lawyer who fought for the American Nazi Party to march across a highly Jewish populated city? Freedom of speech means that you and I have the same right to speak. I don't have to like it and voice my criticism but that is part of the freedom you and I can enjoy. To make it again very clear, I don't Christians, but I think that they're dangerous.
First yes there is, at one moment you say "I'm not against taking your rights away" then its "Your freedom of speech does not give you the right to call a religion fake". You also said "That you don't need lawyers to defend your religion" and then you say "We need to fight agianst hate crimes with the law" which I think is the same thing as defending your religion with law Team.
I find it funny how people believe here so strongly about the blatant difference between cult and religion, an eye opener here: there's no such thing.
Actually, it depends on how you frame it. In the context it is being used here (context is everything with language), it refers to an organisation that demands strict adherence to beliefs whilst being overly controlling and intimidating towards members.
Academically speaking, there is quite a large consensus that there is a difference. Don't want to burst your obviously well-informed bubble - but look into the many many papers that have been written on the subject before you speak.
So you would be happy for the Church of Scientology to schism depending on how different groups within it interpreted Hubbard's works?
You would be happy for members of Scientology to 'donate' different amounts for services depending on how much they could afford?
You would be happy for the 'priests' to be able to stand up and teach their own interpretation of Scientology - which would be quite different depending on who you talk to?
Because the Anglican church allows that to happen...
But don't you think that any potential change would starts from within? Do you really think that Anon and their little protests will change the way we operate? If Scientology wants to change its because its membership base wishes to change.
Here's a question for the Scientologists commenting here...it's a very serious question.
Can you tell us some things that you DON'T like about Scientology? Since you spend so much time within it, there must be some things you want changed right? Let us know...nothing is perfect, so what don't you like?
Which org are you talking about? Because i go passed one of the ones in London twice a day, five days a week, and EVERY time it is empty except for one or two staff members sitting there looking bored.
Don't worry, Scientology will be around for years to come and I'm not worried about it all. Even European nations will soon see that Scientology can not be banned and that its right to exist remains protected (EU Law). Spain was the first major step, the UK will be next.
Even IF it does become recognised as a religion, it won't change my opinion that it is nothing more than a cult, you might as well be Jim Jones peoples temple.
Of course you are biased in this argument and as a scientologist you cannot take criticism.
Even in your statement above you make it sound like scientology is gunning for world domination
Dave there is just one little problem, We don't suck balls (you should know us better) and I guess you should open your eyes. Scientology is not a threat but wants to do its part for a better world,
So please explain how depriving someone who is mentally ill medication that is PROVEN to help them? Explain how you can deprive a young lady them help she needs by locking her in a hotel without medical attention then later she is found dead??? How is this helping??
Don't say it didn't happen because it is a fact!!
Scientology has a bad reputation for a reason, and miscavige is a total dick head...
I really don't understand why Scientology thinks taking pictures of Anonymous' protests outside their buildings is going to help them in any way, in their fight against us.
So what? A bunch of people outside a building. It proves nothing; none of their alleged "bomb threats" and terrorism accusations are true. Sure, there are people out there who do these things to their organization, but Anonymous explicitly, and actively, EXPELS any such people (anyone breaking law) from Anonymous itself.
I have to ask Oschaper I remeber you saying once that you supported the fair game policy by saying "To stop people from makeing fun of my religion" or something like that. Why is it when we call your religion fake you go on the offense and say something about christianty. Which if you don't already know $cientology was made by Ron L Hubbard a scifi novelist so making shit up about sience was his job. Try to assume that he might have made the whole auditing thing up.
Jesus was a carpenter if I'm not mistaken and people believe in him. It really does not matter what your profession is, as long you have the gift to inspire people. I'm not a fan of fair game, because we are the subject of "Fair Gaming" every day by our critics. But we have all the right to defend our believe and church with all legal means and our right to self defense to protect us from attacks.
That was retarded, you and your cult are not subjects of fair game just because we say something about your "religion". We to, have the right be critics thanks to the first ammendment, yet you are saying that you accept lawyers going against us being critics in court.
They are under attack in Europe by the governments and law systems in those countries because the Church of Scientology is suspected of taking part in illegal activities.
Germany sees Scientology as a totalitarian organisation that is of great risk to the public's well-being. What do you think about the fact that the German government has your church under surveillance?
So how can you explain that the Neo-Nazi party NPD holds seats in several state parliaments? Scientology is not alone in Germany's attack list. I recommend the US-State Departments annual report on religious freedom FYI
You didn't answer my question - you just dodged it and tried to put attention on something other than Scientology...which is the usual tactic that you guys seem to take.
What do you think about the government investigation into Scientology that is occurring in Germany?
Sorry that I missed your question (you can always PM the question).
Germans are hysterical and abuse their past to suppress new ideas and believes within the country. To give you a none Scientology excample: Why can a Christian Church build a bell tower while the Mosques are not allowed to have their Minarets? Why can Christian teachers display their faith and a Muslim not in a class room?
Why do you feel the need to stoop to such low insults?
It's quite unbecoming, and not very in line with good communication skills.
About a quarter to a third of the people attending these protests were female as far as i can tell. It surprises many, but i don't see why it should really...
Considering that some of the teachings of L Ron Hubbard are quite homophobic, then i guess it could be considered as such...amongst many many other things.
Why do you again single out Scientology? Christians are homophobic as well and even fight gay and lesbian groups. Take it as it is, its a point of view that is shared not only within Scientology but in large parts of society that homosexuality is bad.
i'm interested to know what Scientologists think about the changes that have been made to L Ron Hubbard's teachings by David Miscavige...
Wasn't Hubbard's 'tech' perfect? Why was it all changed? Why did Scientolgists who spent many years and tens of thousands of dollars to get to OT 7 told to do it all over again?
Why do you let Miscavige change everything as it suits him?

Would you say that folks have a right to follow Scientology if they want to?
toryluvslrh1 3 years ago
i would say that folks have a right to believe in anything that they want - as long as they know what they are believing in, and aren't abused and scammed out of their hard earned money.
i do not agree in people being promised things and made to pay large amounts of money and then not get what was promised - that is commonly called a 'scam'.
If Scientology was free, half of the problem would be solved. The other half requires getting rid of the Rehabilitation Project Force and the SP Hall.

Was it free?
toryluvslrh1 3 years ago
they are classified as a religion, so how do they have huge tax bills there are tax exempt. Other "religions" over salvation for free, it reminds me of the old pyramide scams.
phart 3 years ago 2
I guess you dont really know how the tax exempt laws work do ya? COS pays something like $50 - $100 million a year in taxes worldwide. And they are still tax exempt! Better do your homework on this one ...

Why dont you just get over your imaginary fear of Scientology, take a class, find out it actually really works, come back in here and tell everyone the truth, and get on with your life. get out of your racial hate group and start living.
toryluvslrh1 3 years ago
Quick question - After almost 40 years in, why are you not further up the bridge? Did you stop? Why stop at Clear?
The racial hate group is obviously a wrong one there...as this certainly isn't about race or ethnicity and anybody can see that.
Another question - what happens if one wants to be a Scientologist but is a homosexual?
Last question - you said nothing was true, does Scientology not practice disconnection? You know there are reams of words from LRH himself stating as much...
Shahate 3 years ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show

They sound completely standard.
analyticSynthetic 3 years ago
The point about numbers is that Scientology vastly exaggerates their own numbers - they use it, so others critique it...that is all.
Scientology is in schools with their 'study tech', they are 'knocking' on doors with their mailouts, they do rattle tins on the street with their 'stress tests'. They do all the things you mention, including telling people inside that they will suffer great calamity if they leave.
Well done with your continued efforts at trolling my vids by the way...
Shahate 3 years ago
Muslims vastly exagerate their own numbers. They say there are billions of them and yet will say in the same breath that any awkward ones aren't "real".
All manner of barmy alternative practioners give fake tests and treatments or speak to the dead or predict the future or promise everylasting life after you're in the ground.
I'm not trolling. I think what you're campaign is indulging in is immoral. Unpleasant to see. Fascist and popularist and immature and naive.
analyticSynthetic 3 years ago
Your logic still confuses me...
Shahate 3 years ago
Now let's approach some of the other points...
Shahate 3 years ago
Immature and naive? Maybe some people involved are sure, but there are many others who have spent months studying Scientology and how it abuses members, meeting with those who have been abused, thought about it well beyond what would be required for it to no longer be 'naive'.
In the end, it's about free speech - the Scientologists have a right to respond, and anybody who listens to both can make up their own minds.
What have you done to fight your cause against Islam? Anything?
Shahate 3 years ago
I was in the church about 13 years. I would guess there are about 100,000 Scientologists active total at any time. This is simply because when Scientology boasts having presence in other countries they generally only refer to one or two orgs there.

Scientology is not, NOT, N-O-T the fastest growing religion on the planet!
That is CoS propaganda that has no basis in fact. By doing some REAL research outside of CoS promotional materials, any middle-school student can come to the conclusion that the membership numbers claimed by the CoS are ridiculously overinflated.
NarkAnon 3 years ago 2
Have to agree here...10 million? Only if you count anybody who's ever bought a book from an org.
From the very detailed examination of this topic, one can come to a conclusion somewhere in the range of 50,000 - 1 million. It is VERY difficult to go above that bracket...even above 250,000 is a big stretch.
i think the numbers of active, going to session, Scientologists may even be below 50,000. Triple that if you want to include people who still affiliate but aren't active. But 10 million???
Shahate 3 years ago
i dont get what scientology is?
SufcElz 3 years ago
as a former Scientologist myself, I'll explain it to you.
MrPillowFoot 3 years ago 2
thanks.
SufcElz 3 years ago
MrPillowfoot is lying to you. Go find out for yourself because he knows the REAL reason he is no longer involved.
toryluvslrh1 3 years ago
To find out for yourself, i suggest that one use the wonderful power of the internet to see what comes up in a search for 'scientology'. Then, not only will you receive the party-line that everything is perfect; but you will also see the countless reports and personal experiences as to why this organisation is not exactly what it claims to be...
There is no need to spend your money, people have already done that and have left in droves - find out why.
Shahate 3 years ago
Shahate I got into Scn from the internet! Its a great thing and the internet saved my life by introducing me to Scn ... the fastest growing religion on earth! I watched some of the anon videos and just laughed. I had personal exp with a few of them and the videos were not even close in telling the truth.
toryluvslrh1 3 years ago
Glad you recommend the internet - as do i. Nobody should join Scientology without looking into what people say about on the 'net.
The internet is great, but remember that whilst within Scientology it is heavily filtered...you are forced to do so.
i'm quite interested in the 'fastest growing religion on earth' claim...proof please? And if your sources are Scientology ones that doesn't count you know ;) Census data would do!
Shahate 3 years ago
I have been in Scn since 1969. I am CLEAR and very trained in its technology. I got this far by looking for myself and not relying on the internet. I read, I listened, I looked and found COS was perfect for me. I dont waste time proving anything. Why would I? I dont care if you dont do it. I did it for me and for me ... it works!
toryluvslrh1 3 years ago
You don't care if we don't do it? Now that is something i haven't heard a Scientologist say for quite some time ;)
So are you saying that you never try to recruit people into Scientology?
What would you do if your family members read about Xenu and had some serious issues with it?
Shahate 3 years ago
Xenu, Santa, Easter bunny ... who cares about that shit. YOU!!! We could care less and I dont care if you look into iy or not. Thats your choice. Attack it if you like. You cant do anything about it so you might as see what all the interest is in it.
toryluvslrh1 3 years ago
What if your family said that they didn't want you to have anything to do with Scientology anymore?
As for your claim about Scientology being the fastest growing religion in the world...does that mean it's going to be as wide-spread as Christianity or Islam one-day? Do you think Hubbard will be like the next Jesus or Mohammad?
If i may ask, what do you do for Scientology nowadays? Are you in the Sea Org? How far on the bridge are you?
Shahate 3 years ago
Shahate what if ur family told you to follow Scn? Scn IS the fastest growing religion on earth. And no doubt it will be as widespread because folks of those other faiths already take Scn classes. LRH will always be LRH. I am CLEAR, take classes, and my mom is in her 30th year in the Sea Org. What do you do for a living?
toryluvslrh1 3 years ago
@toryluvslrh1: Thankyou for not, and i repeat NOT, giving any solid answer to Shahate. It just goes to reinforce what everybody else believes about you. You do not seem to have any basis to your arguments. And by saying that you do not need to "waste time by proving anything" simply goes to show that you have no way to prove anything you say.
FrenchDJBurn 2 years ago
In fact, you say that Scientology is the fastest growing religion, however, former core followers have leaked to the press that since 1970, church numbers have dwindled and core membership is now no higher than 500000, whereas Islam now numbers over 6million in the US alone, with thousands joining every year! Ouch, that seems to be proof against your claims. any word in retaliation?

Shahate 3 years ago
This is probably a waste of time, but isn't it a remarkably large assumption to believe that these people all have hidden crimes?
And even if they were all baby-eating killers it wouldn't change the truth content of their arguments against Scientology.
They wear masks because there is a proven track record of members of Scientology harassing those who use their free speech to criticise it. I know it's your religion but it's not above criticism. Live with it.

The problem with Anon is simple: They're afraid to take responsibility for their actions. They make false claims and later don't want to face the consequences of their action.
oschaper 3 years ago
If they are making 'false claims' why are they not being sued for libel?
There are more and more people taking off their masks at these protests, it's only a matter of time before nobody is afraid of Scientology any longer...why should someone be afraid of a church in the first place i ask you?
Google is your friend - unless of course your internet is censored by your church...sounds like the opposite of freedom to me.

He also seems to think Co$ is the best thing on the earth sense water and tits
lawlietb 3 years ago
There is no contradiction at all. Christians can be Nazis and I respect their freedom to voice their opinion. Remember the Jewish lawyer who fought for the American Nazi Party to march across a highly Jewish populated city? Freedom of speech means that you and I have the same right to speak. I don't have to like it and voice my criticism but that is part of the freedom you and I can enjoy. To make it again very clear, I don't Christians, but I think that they're dangerous.
oschaper 3 years ago
First yes there is, at one moment you say "I'm not against taking your rights away" then its "Your freedom of speech does not give you the right to call a religion fake". You also said "That you don't need lawyers to defend your religion" and then you say "We need to fight agianst hate crimes with the law" which I think is the same thing as defending your religion with law Team.
lawlietb 3 years ago
I find it funny how people believe here so strongly about the blatant difference between cult and religion, an eye opener here: there's no such thing.
Atemporal 3 years ago
Actually, it depends on how you frame it. In the context it is being used here (context is everything with language), it refers to an organisation that demands strict adherence to beliefs whilst being overly controlling and intimidating towards members.
Academically speaking, there is quite a large consensus that there is a difference. Don't want to burst your obviously well-informed bubble - but look into the many many papers that have been written on the subject before you speak.
Shahate 3 years ago
No, it's all right, you actually bursted my not so well-constructed aphorism.
But hey, maybe I wanted -not getting obviously too technical about it- to kill two birds with one stone.
Atemporal 3 years ago
Believe me I know what I'm talking about. Scientology is not more or less a cult as e.g. Anglican church.
oschaper 3 years ago
So you would be happy for the Church of Scientology to schism depending on how different groups within it interpreted Hubbard's works?
You would be happy for members of Scientology to 'donate' different amounts for services depending on how much they could afford?
You would be happy for the 'priests' to be able to stand up and teach their own interpretation of Scientology - which would be quite different depending on who you talk to?
Because the Anglican church allows that to happen...
Shahate 3 years ago
But don't you think that any potential change would starts from within? Do you really think that Anon and their little protests will change the way we operate? If Scientology wants to change its because its membership base wishes to change.
oschaper 3 years ago
Change starts from within...which is why a large part of the protests is made up of ex-Scientologists and Freezoners who want to see things changed.
They suffered great abuse, they want justice.

Why is it when we call your religion fake you go on the offense and say something about christianty. Which if you don't already know $cientology was made by Ron L Hubbard a scifi novelist so making shit up about sience was his job. Try to assume that he might have made the whole auditing thing up.
lawlietb 3 years ago
Jesus was a carpenter if I'm not mistaken and people believe in him. It really does not matter what your profession is, as long you have the gift to inspire people. I'm not a fan of fair game, because we are the subject of "Fair Gaming" every day by our critics. But we have all the right to defend our believe and church with all legal means and our right to self defense to protect us from attacks.
oschaper 3 years ago
That was retarded, you and your cult are not subjects of fair game just because we say something about your "religion". We to, have the right be critics thanks to the first ammendment, yet you are saying that you accept lawyers going against us being critics in court.
lawlietb 3 years ago
Oh really, You should know better because it may not happen in this country but Scientologists are under attack in Europe.
oschaper 3 years ago
They are under attack in Europe by the governments and law systems in those countries because the Church of Scientology is suspected of taking part in illegal activities.
Germany sees Scientology as a totalitarian organisation that is of great risk to the public's well-being. What do you think about the fact that the German government has your church under surveillance?

What do you think about the government investigation into Scientology that is occurring in Germany?
Shahate 3 years ago
Sorry that I missed your question (you can always PM the question).
Germans are hysterical and abuse their past to suppress new ideas and believes within the country. Why can Christian teachers display their faith and a Muslim not in a class room?
