Diplomacy with Iran IS going nowhere, because Iran does not want to respond or change. We know what they want and where they are going. The question is, can a US that is weakened internally and not meeting the needs of its people, and which only seems to exist to counter evil international hegemony sutainably exist in the sense of America?

If I could press a button and remove the govenment of Iran I would, but what is the price? I think it is unacceptably high for America now.

Bush (H.W.) in response to a reported said: We dont care what is the truth, we just dont apologize.

nope, they did that independently at the very first. and when iranian foreign minister told iran's leader about what happended he replied "go kick them [students] out [of the embassy]". but later when students found espionage devices and documents in the embassy, the government supported them. but right, the students should have not done that and that was against international laws.

Supporters of Iran make statements of belief and they put a lot of stock in (mis)interpretting Ahmadinejad's comments, and this makes no logical sense to me, except that they are just pro-Iranian.

Bottom line is that Iran is going to get attacked even if the US has to collapse its economy to do it. Not my choice, but the current regime's gotta go.

I'm convinced the students action was not planned by the new Govt.. but once it got going and the Govt saw how weak the USA was, the Govt quickly accepted it.

1- the outreach of obama has not been rejected by iranians, they say we will are ready to negotiate when the slogan of change appears in practice.

2- lebanon hostages were taken by hizbollah, and in fact iran helped US to release them. iran and US made a deal, iran helps US to release hostages, US gives back iranian assets freezed in US. iran did her job but US didnt.

Holding international seminars on what they would will be like post-America, or taking it upon Iran's back to decide what the Holocaust was or wasn't including racists from all around the world. i have no doubt that iran WANTS israel to be wiped off the map and thats cuz in irans eyes that land is home to palestinians and not immigrants. but never threatened to an attack cuz knows it will see a massive retaliation from the west. about the name iran or persia, iran has always been called iran by iranians themselves, and persia was only part of iran historically and persians are only a group of iranians. the west mistakenly called iran persia.
