PLEASE...somebody tell me what exhuast drone is!!! I plan on getting a new 5.0 and want to upgrade the exhuast and I always hear people talk aqbout "drone"?? What the hell is it?? Im guessing its some kind of annoying sound?? I dont know...please help!! LOL!!

@damon323 Drone is the constant noise an engine makes at a certain RPM. The stock exhausts arent as noticeable but with some aftermarket exhausts it amplifies the 2k-3k RPM noise so much that it's annoying to drive on the freeways as a daily driver because of both the noise and vibration.

I have a 6-spd with 3.73 gears and it does drone at about 60 mph (2000 RPM). Once you get much past that speed, it's great.

How do you feel about it at highway speeds... any drone? I want something to unleash some sound but do a lot of highway driving and can't deal with crazy amounts of drone for 4hrs straight

They're lined up pretty good. Most of that is camera angle. I played with them in the hangers for a while before installing the retainer clips and tightening the connection.
