  • If you were an iron worker you might have thought of this "sup wrench" or "erection wrench" concept. Yeh! good thinking, a tapered end will save a lot of frustration threading those bolts,

Oh Those wrenches are use to line up the bolt holes in structural beams and columns. You know, on BIG stuff.

    Any way good epiphany.

ps one of thos tapered end things is an hanger bolt. And there are others. any way KISS right?

  • interesting idea of tapping between cells..

  • why don't you put plastic washers between the area where the stainless steel screws enter so the spacing is always the same, use 1/8" thick Teflon round washers, round washers will keep more plate surface exposed.

  • There are more than 400 videos now... look through them.. and you will find the answer. I have made many changes.

    Thank ;you for your interest

  • here's an even simpler idea....stainless steel washers!...tada!...perfect for spacers...in fact thats what theyre made for!..lol!..then you just use a nut on each end to tighten!.....let me know what you think!..i'm just gettin into this hydrogen cell thing...ive got some ideas...like why not use stainless steel screen?...instead of plate...lots more area on a screen, right?....walt

  • John, have you thought of oversizing the hole and sandwiching the plates onto the bolts with nuts? It would also make better contact with the plates. Oversize the hole or undersize the bolt for smaller nuts. I use this on my cells made with wall plates and grommets.

  • Hi John, will the whole concept work with a deisel engine, glow plugs against spark plugs. 2nd do you have the entry to the manifold explained, Mark, UK

  • wat is the best way to drill through stainless steal?

  • Drill press..

    John AArons

  • can i use aluminium plate or zinc plate

  • aluminum would be a bad choice.. esp.. if you are going to use "LYE".

    John AArons

  • thank you

  • how do you cut the plates

  • I use a band saw..

    John AArons

  • Simple, before I ever finished watching this video,

Use a stainless nut between EACH plate! Holds the plates apart at a uniform distance AND gives the who thing STRENGTH you can fully tighten down.

  • I have come a long way form this video.... There are over 340 videos ...

  • Hi again John, I am very intersted in building a cell for my car, that was the intent of may last post. I Just dont know wicj type to build, I would like to know what is the production of your cell in liters/minute & at what amps ?

  • Great work John. Here's a stupid question, you've been working on this thing for a very, very long time ! why isn't this thing put to some good use, like in your car for instance ?

  • THE MAN IS A GENIOUS. WE ALL ARE VERY GRATEFULL FOR THE DETAIL AND EFFORTS YOU GO TO explain things as well as you do.

I think John Arron shows how people as good a teacher that he is can educate those of us still laymen in these fields. Thank you vey much Jonn I am sure many people feel you have been of a great service to them in a education we all neeed to make our own hydrogen.

yout ARRONCELL IS TREMENDOUS INVENTION THAT WILL CHANGE THE WORLD SOMEDAY.

  • Why not just put spacers between the plates then clamp them together tightly with SS nuts on either end(even between each plate) Like I make tuning capacitors(ZL1BJQ)!

  • They are called "Self-Guiding" bolts or screws.

  • have you tryed a series circuit test to get the amps and heat down and why stop at 15 to get the most hydrogen for each cell

  • I am at the point where I will be working on the car installation tests..I will revisit it again.. John AArons

  • You miss the point... the AAron's Cell is a Lab cell.. that cell is for people that want to try their ideas and go beyond mine... That cell is made for the idea person.. not the arm chair person. John AArons

  • This design works VERY well :) I tried it over the weekend, I seperaited the plates by electrical grommets instead of the cutouts :) I also gentaly buffed mine in the direction I wanted the bubbles to move off the plates. Then I polished them. I thread tapped all my plates to help the screw.

  • All the AAron's Cells are tapped ..Keep watching .. John AArons

  • I watch and watch dude :) I have a mate coming over later and will be making some more plates for him. This is fun stuff.

  • I was thinking that if instead of notching the plates you just made the hole bigger so that the bolt would pass through every other plate without touching. You could still alternate the plate configuration at will. Just seems like it would be easier to drill holes than notch. Really appriciate your work.

  • Interesting you should bring that up... I have been working on just a system... My idea was to do that and get rid of the spacers...

    John AArons

  • how about alternating a ss nut with a nylon nut ( plate nylon nut ss plate ss nut plate nylon nut plate ss plate etc.) then you don't need to cut (notch) plates and can submerge the complete unit.

  • The way I do it is the essayist way for me... thanks ... John AArons

  • why don't you make the holes a little bigger and space each one with a nut. that way you have them equally spaced.

  • The AAron's Cell is made so that it can be taken apart easy and reconfigured... The plates can be made to be (+) or (-) depending on the direction they face along with the (N) cell can be changed to make a plate Neutral.. putting a nut on each plate would make that imposable. John AArons

  • how have you solved the amp issue, I have used the soda method however when lye is added I blow fuses and melt wires. hydrongen prodution is great! until the fuses are blown. I am using either 1 tbl of soda to half gallon distilled water and or 1/2 tsp of lye to half gallon.

I use over size holes with ss lock washers as a 1/4 spacer offset such as yours. comes out the same. have used combo of pich of lye two tbl soda and 1/4 cup of Is. alchol. any suggestions on the amp issue?

  • You can not compare yours with mine... unless you have the same steel and are sure the spaces are the same... and the area is the same..

No less use the same Electrolyte as I do.

To many amps may mean to much Electrolyte or other... John AArons

  • How about having a smaller diameter thread & slide spacers cut to the correct length over thread. You will need 7 spacers on each end. Use a Stainless steel bolt & spacers & you will be able to tighten it up to make a better electric contact and mechanically sound.

  • The reason I don't do that (started with that idea) is that my cells are designed to take apart... that method would make that hard..

Also each bolt would have to be less than 1/8th inch to make the spacing right..

This screw change seem to do the trick..

    Thanks for your interest..

    John AArons

  • Hey John, why take the cell apart? For cleaning?

  • All of my "cells" are made so that you can change the position of the plates ... or flip them... doing this allows you to change the (+) to (-) on each plate or on some you can change the plate into a "Neutral" plate...it is more work but it is good.. John AArons

  • where do you get the plastic screws 1/4 and plastic nuts?

  • They are hard to find... go to a hardware store and look at the plumbing supply... the ones I use are 1/4 inch... John AArons

  • John, have you had a chance to try the volume measurement device you made a few videos ago? Results? thx HHO95667

  • Not yet... but thanks for reminding me...

    John AArons

  • Goes to show some times the the best ideas are the simplest, thanks for sharing the info

  • Hope this will same "some people" time...

    John AArons

  • Well, that's the right way to go. You should be able to find screws like that, that would work for you.

  • This does work... I will be looking... John AArons
