Thats what i like to here the technical stuff. What i keep seeing over there in the states vids are just guys cutting out a floor channel and then dry walling and then job done there is a lot of pressure on a wall from the subsoil out side as well as sulfate attack so it is imperative that it be done properly. I'm from London UK and you would never see us just throw drywall on a wall we do things the traditional way. the best way.
