Religions that want its followers to pray are false religions. A true god doesn't need to hear what you have to say or do because this real God already knows you in and out, before you even begin to express yourself in prayer or otherwise. A true believer doesn't need to pray because such a believer believes in God knowing what his shortcomings are, and thus prayers are useless. Only false religions encourage prayer. This only implies that all religions are false.

@PeterKuriakose religion gives you the moral and teaches you the respect to others, God created the world, i agree that he already knows what you gonna say when you pray but thats not the point. The point is that when you pray you are close to God, and you remind yourself abot the moral and respect to others everytime you pray. Is this a bad thing? when you stop to pray, you forget about all this, you do more and more things which are forbidden by God.

Thisis a nasheed not just a song, also, the prophet (saws) permitted drums and that "jingling" sound that you hear in the background is almost like modern day tamborine. They are the only two instruments that he (saws) said would be permittable.
