  • I guess nothing other than the fact that we own the air where ever we deploy, air superiority and advances made by our military have gave the US the upper hand. If you were having pop shots taken at you and you had the option to fight up hill (major disadvantage) or call in air support, most smart people would choose the latter. Unless their looking for their 72 virgins.
