I got my PPL in a liberty recently, nice plane to fly. I did my training at the same school where that guy crashed in Volusia Co Florida last week actually. Scary thought.
I was at Ormond from July 3rd till July 31st.. We might have met each other then.. briefly at least.. I found it to be generally very good.. you got what you paid for and it is a bargain compared to the prices here in Europe...
hey, I am going to be flying there soon and wanted to know any tips or anything I should really look out for..have not flight planned yet but was comning from kmyf to jul vor to l08..which direction did u come from?

Yes, Ormond Beach. When were you there? My course ran All June and beginning of July 07'. How did you find the flying there?

I took the same route, but I cut east just south of the VOR so i don't have to go directly over it.
On the way back I depart to the south to have time to climb and get over the mountains. I head south to intercept V66 and head back to MYF.
