hey guys, I have pro tools rack model 03 with an apple imac. i have lost the high end in my studio, its not the equipment, I think it is my hard wood floor. I have a rug and egg crates in my room but I am experiencing a loss of highs and a boomy sound, eq sounds better but you can tell there is a problem. please help...this problem has gone on 2 years now
Can you do a video on how to duplicate vocals? For example,I record an artist and he or she lays down 5 vocal audio tracks for the 8 bar hook of the song. How do I duplicate the hook to land on beat 16 bar later in the song? So instead of the artist having to sing the entire hook 1 or 2 more times I should be able to just copy & paste or duplicate the first good take and put it again further in the song. How would I set up the session? Does it have to be in grid mode? Does the BPM need setting?
no. You will need a digidesign interface in order to run pro tools. All of their interfaces have xlr inputs for a mic and 1/4 inch for mixer, synth, etc. the cheapest is the mbox mini at about 300 bucks.
