the reason there not sky blue is so we dont stick out to jets. Helicopters can fly low and fast hidding from most stuff on the ground. However a fighter jet has rockets that will hit shit going mach 1.5 or something. ( blackhawk velocity not to exceed 193 kts "222mph"). Now that ive said that someone will post "we have air superiority". Yeah well maybe we wont against Iran, China, North Korea ect. other than that pretty cool video

@jerred39 Didn't stop USAF from fratriciding two groups of Soldiers in UH-60s over northern Iraq. Main threat other than incompetent USAF pilots is from THE GROUND. Army helos should be sky gray.

I like what you have to say in the video description - perhaps the "expendable" attitude that goes with having an infinate influx of recruits means training standards are lapsing, and they are sending extremely unprepared soldiers into a big shit fight.

A mate of mine said those guys that are dug in are very seasoned fighters, and extremely under estimated

I have heard that from a lot of people saying army should paint their helo's like the Navy Seahawks. But holy shit good luck getting the helo to go 250 mph, there is no need for that they go fast enough and anything shooting down a cruising blackhawk is gonna shoot down a blackhawk going 250mph

Incorrect. The difference between 150 and 250 mph is huge when folks are trying to shoot you down. Watch the Pasecki VTDP videos and go to our web pages for details before acting like its impossible when its already been done.

ok my point is good luck getting the blackhawk to haul that much ass, the lynx is the fastest in the world It does not even go 250. Im sure its not impossible for the U.S. its shear will. thats prolly why the army is starting to like the new chinooks more because they are so damn quick, but I guess thats an even easier target. some good points though.

Nice video..it's a shame, they gonna fall apart as soon as we pull assets..they have no logistics chain set up, we/they are failing miserably at that, getting them up and running. Buy, sustain, repair, replace. Logistics is the key, and it ain't happening...

This is a mission to train Iraqis. There is a host of things that display this. The masks (why would the 101 need masks?), the older uniforms and equipment for the time period (not to mention the lack of fabric on the helmets on the Iraqi helmets), the lack of American flags and patches on the older uniforms and the general speed of the drill.
