That sums up just how im feeling right now....nearly a thousand pound on four tomtoms and they have all ended up not working......one word ....garmin.

I bought a Tom Tom Rider 2 and have had endless trouble with it. It works fine in a car, charges ok, fitted to a bike it will not charge. It`s a well known fault that Tom Tom refuses to acknowledge, They just keep sending replacement holders which still don't work. The on-bike charging problem is within the mount it`self. I got round the problem by grinding off enough plastic to allow the small cover at the bottom of the monitor to remain open then I supplied 12v to the jack plug that's used

i think that is the only solution. Mine isnt working either.. I hope TomTom goes out of business with their super expensive products that break by themselves.
