  • really fun song to play

    painfully slow though

  • Simply haunting and beautiful ... I love this as from John williams much as his ' Theme from JFK ' the movie .

  • this song is awesome! RIP the people that fought for the allies during WWII, on D-Day so many lives were giving up to heaven. take a few mins out of your life and like this video! in life, when you have a problem, listen to this song! you will think that you can do it! its just a small problem! this song encourages you to do something! take a stand and go against something you thing is wrong! these men struggled to keep us alive! your problems are only small compared to thers! you can live!

  • Any Freedom loving person should take a few minutes out of their lives to give some thought to the men who sacrificed before us. I hear people complain about the petty problems in life. And I always think. What a wonderful world you must live in, if that is a big deal.

Men like these fought tooth and nail, and sometimes to the death. They lived, struggled and died in a war zone.

Some people need to get some real problems.

  • wooohoo ad for a film about a horse just randomly galloping about in world war 1 across trenches lol

  • God Bless John "The Great One" Williams :)

  • We played this in my high school band. It was amazing. <3 I love this song. So beautiful.

  • A friend of mine played this with his brass band in front of +300 people (with me as technical support, btw). In the back a video with some shots from Saving Private Ryan. Then dark, airplane sounds and searchlights, and then 633 squadron. Now I love this :D

  • onore a tutti i soldati che hanno sacrificato la propria vita per gli altri

  • I love this piece my middle school orchestra played This at a assembly mixes with band and I loved it

  • I cry tears of pride!

  • thumbs up if you now need to cry!!!

  • @SinclairDelux because people listen to lady gaga nowadays...very, very very sad.

  • thumbs up if you got goosebumps!

  • Just a personal P.S. Johnny M, Vic M, Walt S, spikey,One eye, Monkey P, Paddy, and the others that we lost in battles post 63 you are still remembered always, god bless you and keep you when we join you we will watch YOUR backs

  • As long as their is hate there will always be "the fallen".It bodes well to know of the past, but that is what it is "the past". America didn't win the war by itself, there were, as they and the rest of the world is aware all creeds religeons and colours, the "enemy" was the opponents of the time. they are not ours now. In the name of all who are fallen,of any nationality, honour them by living better and less selfish lives. Follow their example and help those in need, our "Brothers"

  • One of the most touching songs I've heard.

  • Beautiful!

  • beatiful!

  • Saving Private Ryan is the best war film ever made. As an european citizen I only can say that we will never forget the great effort made by those young and brave american soldiers to free Europe from the nazism. Many of them rest forever in our land, far away from the US. God bless them and their families.

  • @Ionalito What about the British, Canadians, Polish, French, Russian etc? America didn't fight the Germans alone.

  • @berserker276 . I would like to present my apologize, you are right, a lot of soldiers from many countries fighted against nazism.

  • (Sorry for my english) John Williams can awake every single emotion in me with his music! Just wonderful!

  • My grandfather fought at Omaha beach on D-day, just like the men in the movie. Every time I hear this song it makes me cry, I miss him so much :(

    R.I.P Ted daily 1922-2010

  • @CaptainOhYeah55 You're lucky you know that sort of stuff. Frankly, I don't know anything about what my Grandfather(s) did in the war, one of them died before I was born, and the other one, who only died in 2008, lived like 200 miles away.

  • Simply a master piece!

  • I love it! It makes me want to cry.... :'(

  • I like this sound track. My high school band played this theme last year and it sounded great. :)

  • I do love this piece, but the articulation for the violins - it was rearranged for symphonic band really badly, its completely illegible. :/

  • i am playing this song in band love it very nice

  • Honor and immortal glory to the all fallen in the Second World War

  • honer to all men how gave there souls for freedom of Europe from Hitlers hand's

  • @SuperRubenis All british should thumps up you...
