Sam's getting kind of old guys, I think there's a good chance he could die in this one or the next one. If we're lucky, they might continue the franchise with a new character & have Sam playing mentor to that new character. That'd be pretty cool as long as they keep the core mechanics of the franchise.

Just to let you know people, the book I do believe, has nothing to do with the game. In the book he never really goes after his daughter, it just say's that him killing Lambert was a set up to take down the head of 3rd echelon who was a trader. So In the book "world" Lambert was killed by Fisher so Fisher could go rouge and I think his daughter never died. Anyways, the books are a great read.

I hate waiting but if it means a better game then so be it. I dont want another dissapointment (terminator salvation). This should be re-envigorating and recharge the series. I can see more of the same from Sam Fisher in the years to come. Or at least develop another agent or storyline. This game seems like its going to be what the Bourne Identity SHOULD HAVE BEEN LIKE.

i think this game will top MW2, has anyone heard anything about multiplayer capabilities, i think it would be awesome to have a more stealthy approach to multiplayer shooting games, its better then having all the campers in MW2. to have the need to out wit your foes instead of who has more time on their hands to play 10 hours a day would be interesting.

Splinter Cell is one of my favorite game series. I love what they are doing with the game so far and can't wait to play it, but I'm alittle sad that it got too fast paced. One of the best things about the first games was the suspense gotten by adapting to the environment and slowly moving from shadow to shadow, constantly using tactics that required you to be vigilant and patient. That slower paced suspence will no longer be in a fast paced game, but I'll still enjoy it for what it does.

The old ones have a more covert feel to them. Chaos Theory was my personal favorite. This one seems to be less critcal thinking and tactics but more action. Now don't get me wrong I'm greatly looking forward to this, but It's a huge change for the series' original style. I wouldn't mind seeing one like the originals but this is a nice change.
