I am truly amazed by Jim's talent. He is performing near me in November at a club in Asbury Park and wild horses couldn't keep me away! Thank you again for this video. One of my friends told me about it one week ago and I was hooked.
One kick ass cover of just about my favorite Bruce tune. It's one of "The Professor" Roy Bittan's tour de forces - 88 keys, and Roy damn near used 'em all on the studio track. But here, it's impressively distilled down to just four strings[!!!]. A fantastic transcription job, and a really fine performance.
what's remarkable is how quickly you stop thinking "damn. that's a fucking ukulele he's playing" and just listen.
