I think thats just another "way" to play it. You just have to do the Dm and then you put your middlefinger into the same fret as your ringfinger. if you look on her fingers, you can see it.

That's how I noticed that she plays different, by watching her fingers :D But it's hard to figure it out, because she changes quickly and the cam is not always focused on her hand... So I'm not really a fan of the graphical displaying of chords, some chords I figured out just by trying :D
