  • @dynamiteshan

bideaway thankz for telling meray pas single 80 GB ki HDD hai par mai nay uski heat sink chek ki i think us kay capasiters jal gai hain

  • @TheJackofallmasterof That can happen i placed my cpu in a closed place. or kabhi kabhi to without switching off 20 hrs tak chalta rehta tha magar meinay khayal nahi kiya tha thats y i had to pay the price...............

  • meray sath bhi yeh problem hai help me plz

  • @TheJackofallmasterof Yaar different wajahon ki wajha se ye prob create hoti hai meray sath chipset ka prob tha jo k repair nahi hosakta tha, that's y i had to change my mother board, but i face the same prob with my cousin's pc but i wont restart and it work prefectly even with this problem......so u should chek ur heat selent may b i will work....................

    Thanks for watching......:)

  • Same problem I got wd mine DellGx280 tower.Simply combine White & Blue cable behind the fan.Note that dun combine Red & Black(These 2 cables r of main power supply for fan +ve & -ve terminal). No need to do sumfin else or to get repair from a technicion.Em student of Electrical Computer engineering at COMSATS University nd found its solution in microprocessor lab.

  • @soraka69 can you tell me what the thermistor looks like please??

  • But that fan error cost me my mother board :(

  • nice noise :P like F1 engime, is soo COOOOOOOL with a high speed fan, we can have a CPU cooled :P and get more overclocking :D :p:p:p:p:p DELL 4 EVER,

  • Re-seat the RAM and make sure everything is connected properly...If that doesn't work you need to replace the motherboard...

  • @dannyaingefan I did the same thing but aftr all i had to replace the mother board............

  • u can control dell fan by i8kfangui software

  • Temperature sensor under CPU is going bad.. It read a high temperature of the CPU and prevent booting of the computer. To check this you need to take the computer box in cold refrigerator or in the winter outside for 1 hour. Than take in side and connect everything to the computer box and power it on. If it will power on no problem than that is a thermistor on board is bad.

  • It is the heatsink. The "performance" heatsink that had 6 heat pipes had a flaw in the design, and replacing fan does not fix. Get one with a dell part number g8113.

  • itz a great and constant problem of gx280

main 1 dafa 500 rupees main haal raod se theek karwa k laya tha but..

    kuch din baad same...

maine ise thandi hawa di...cool kia to theek hogya..

    phir 1 din same haalat..

phir main ne heat sinker k neechay patti ko hilaya to chal parra..

Abhi me ne pc chalaya hi he..

    waise ye risk hi he..

    board change karna behtar he

kyunke gf280 ki ye kharabi mash'hoor he

  • @Myaccountofutube Yes bro mera to is k wajha se itna kharcha hua tha or eik din to mother board ka chipset he ur gaya or bus phir pura board he beth gaya tha shukar hai processor ki bachat hogai thi......

wesay meinay thermal paste bhi bohat try kiya tha magar koi faida nahi hua tha..........

but eik baat samajh nahi ati meray cousin ko bhi same prob hai but just switch off karne baad on karo chal parta hai abhi tak kuch bhi nahi hua hai us k system ko......

  • excuse me, will this happen with a refurb??

  • @thetickleninjas This happens when ur thermel past dries out weather it is refurbhisd or brand new

  • yar app apany processor ki heat sink nikal kar us kay nichy aik pati lagi hoi ho gi gis say proccesoor tight hota ha usay nikal dain to 2 3 month tak app ka pc chal jay ga\

  • FUCK every pc company (HP, Dell etc) . bye PC parts and build you own desktop pc. 100% secure and better system performance + you have access to EVERYTHING on BIOS. so pc like this.....one thig, THROW THEM out of the window

  • i have that problem but mines beeps then it does a noisy fan. just waiting for my dad to fix it. lucky thats my 2nd pc. dimension 5100 never has problems like optiplexes do

  • @MultiYippee I think ur processor i over heating before the fan error i faced the same prob but after few days the chipset of my motherboard refused to work and we cant replace the chipset......... thats y i had to chnge the whole motherboard........

  • @dynamiteshan once i had the problem. i left it for about 3weeks.i turned it on,it worked alright. then from an iso image i installed windows 7 over xp. when it was on windows 7,the pc went to standby cos of windows 7 power management.i press so many keys on the keyboard.(tapping key while the pc is in standby wakes them up).i even clicked the mouse buttons. but they wouldnt work.so i pressed the power button.then there were no beeps but the fan was going faster and faster.i had to (continued ->

  • ist maybe the on-board gpu

  • I had my pick of parts from about 7 or 8 GX280's last week, and in the course of testing all parts for functionality, came across the high-speed fan phenomena like in your video. I'm *nearly* certain that it was down to a bad power supply. In all parts that I tested, about half the power supplies were bad, there was 1 bad motherboard, 1 bad fan, 1 bad front panel (the parts with power button and front USB ports), and no bad RAM.

  • try the ram thats how i fixed my dimension 5000 and it had the same probem.

  • @djmcjo123 I tried the ram replacement but havent worked out some one said that it could be the processor overheating i applied thermal compound but that havent worked for long and then it stopped showing picture.............

  • I KNOW THE SOLUTION FOR THIS...

  • @fergiobebe1 please what is the solution for the Speed Fan Error i have a Dell Gx 280, thanks

  • @vaqueroguero2 Did'nt find the solution yet tthis prob is caused due to over heating of some hard wear like ram or processor if u have cheked it out and even then it is giving the same sort of error then it may the prob of ur chipset............

  • @fergiobebe1 what is the solution for this mess....

  • @dynamiteshan I use a program called I8kfanGUI. It's a fan controller program for Dell laptops, but it will work to slow the fan down on the Optiplex GX280.

  • @dynamiteshan i was facing the same problem with my gx280 , there is some sort of material between the processor and the cooling mechainsm of the system, when that material goes off , the fan make this horriable noise , the solution is very simple just go to any shop and buy that material (its some sort of cream type of thing) and place a layer of it on the processor , and you have done !

  • @tipu8080 Oh you're talking about thermal paste right? yeah, after a few years or so, it dries out and flakes off. I've taken apart a few computers where it's actually almost like glue and I've had to warm the computer up just to take it off. And adding on to what you're saying about it, don't use too much. All you need is enough to apply a paper thin layer to the top of the processor. If you add too much, it ends up creating the opposite effect you're hoping for.

  • -Can you please tell me if you can put 4 GB RAM in this computer and how to do it. I only have two places to put RAM cards and I'm wondering if I can put two cards of 2 GB DDR2 each. Can I also change the processor because I have one that is 2.8 GHZ. Thank you for your help.

  • @Sryayo2010 Yes u can have 4 gb of ram replace the old one with 2 gb each slot and as far as i know processor is also upgrad able to 3.4ghz............

  • @DrSaadZia

Mein ye prob bohat arsay se face kar raha tha most of the time pc switch off kar k kuch dere baad chalata tha to sahi hojata tha but eik din bilkul he beth gaya....... motherboard ka chipset jal gaya tha jo k non replaceable hai......

On the other hand mera cousin isi prob k sath pc run kar raha hai magar us ko abhi tak motherboard change karnay ki zarorat nahi pari ye bohat rere he hota hai k mother board change karna paray.......

  • @dynamiteshan

    Thanks yaar.

Tum kya recommend karo ge ke naya motherboard lun ya naya system khareedun.

Muje ye darr hai k kahin naya motherboard lun phir us me bhi yehi masla hua to paise zaya ho jain ge

  • @DrSaadZia

yaar eik dost ne bataya tha k kabhi ram ya processor overheat hoti hai to bhi high speed fan chalta hai but agar tumhara display he nahi araha hai to phir board he change karna paray ga....

meinay to asus k mother board k sath change kiya tha q k baqi chezein to sahi hoti hein just board ka masla hota hai.....

board change karlo to acha hai magar dell se nahi is dafa koi or like asus or intel.....

  • @dynamiteshan ok thanks

asus ka kon sa board liya tha tum ne?

me bhi wahi le leta hun

  • @DrSaadZia

Sorry i don't remember what was the model of the board.....

    Bcoz i sold my pc..........

  • @DrSaadZia

Just found out the model of asus motherboard P5SD2-VM.....

  • @dynamiteshan

    thank you

  • damn sounded like a leaf blower

  • but i checked it,

it was due to the failiur of chipset i had to change the motherboard for that

  • Not allways the chipset, if anything is wrong with the hx280 it goes haywire with the fan, think it could be some form of failsake in case its overheating without it knowing? lol

I put my ram in wrong once and the fan went crazy swapped them around and ran fine, i think it might be just a failsafe to make sure the pc isent overheating, or could be a random issue dont do it wtht he other fans i got in it xD

  • bro i have the same prob how do i fix it or u get it fixed plzz tell me what was the problem

  • in my pc it hapend due the chipset.............

chipst of the mother board was over heating n one day the chipset blown up..........

but some time it hapend because of the over heating of the processor just apply some heat absorbing grase on the processor....
