yeah the school i drive for has after school program until about 6:30

Maybe.. just maybe that bus covers a late run. Its common with many schools to have buses pick up kids who stay after.

There could have been many reasons why that bus was late, weather, mechanical issues, after school programs, field trip etc. People are sure quick to point fingers at school bus drivers these days. Its a demanding job that requires a lot of attention and anyone that says otherwise should try it and see.
