  • Yey! I wanted him to win when the final table was made

  • "I've got a chance. Seven, seven only." What a fucking donk. Thank goodness Hachem won.

  • Why is Dannanman only 3% in the last hand, he has 3 outs for a split, so should be 7% surely? Unless it halves the odds when it's a split pot.

  • @retroherb they do it all the time.

  • happy he won, afer matusow my favorite

  • Joe wasn't an asshole here, but he is one now.

  • @VicenzoV no, he's not. he's far from an asshole. Hellmuth, matasou, devilfish, and that young fat bitch from norway or wherever, these are good examples of assholes. oh, and you of course

  • One of my favourite WSOPs, esp. because of Steve and Joe. Goes to show you needn't be an asshole to be successful at this game

  • i love steve dannenmann haha

  • Joe Hachem played this final table perfectly best final table i ever seen

  • @madtires he played well throughout, and i agree, he was brialliant and lucky eg q/7d. mind you, he folded several hands he couldve won. but thats poker.

  • u all need to be lucky at some point! aty least he tried to get his money in with the best hand instead of the worst!

  • every1 on that final table was a good player, except kanter, "duh i know if i get my money in behind everytime, thats a good stratagy" donkey..

  • I don't think Danamman is that good of a player, but at least he knows that top pair can be beaten. I think he kinda got lucky to make it this far.

  • pass tha suger

  • PASS THE SUGGA

  • Mental, maybe not Joe, but fuckin stoked and crazy.. Yeeee Boiii!!!!

Brings a smile to my face everytime

  • i hate it when people tell the winning hands in comments. i'm watching the video to see who wins. i don't want to read about it from some random person.

  • I can't believe Hachem won the title with 73o! *_* He got unbelievably lucky on the flop when he hit that straight, but he definitely out played Dannenmann... you're supposed to play a little loose with your hands when heads-up, not with your body language and tells.

  • did Hachem gave drinks for everybody?

  • steve dannenmen. i love the guy but should he have won he may have been won of the worst * sorry inexperienced least skilled player to ever win, but i still like him better than jamie gold.

  • You have to admit, he's at least better than Kantor.

  • onya hachem

  • from almost the bubble boy to Champion !!!

    pass tha suga!!!

    Congrats.

  • PASS THE SUGGA

    looooooool

  • ahha i guess thats poker, i mean bad beats happen to everyone, and to win on the final table of the wpt you have to avoid bad beats, which joe hachem did! which means he deserved it, dont try and take it away from him fucktard!

AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE OI OI OI! lebanese/aussie, just like me...

  • CONGRATS, JOE HACHEM

  • @MATUSOWNED I 2nd that. He was a well deserved champion

  • Realise, these players have endured over 11 hours of BOREDOM we DO NOT see in tv segments. WE are not endeared enough to negate these players.

  • yeah THATS how hachem won lol a "freight train" at the final table how about the 6 days before that retard..

  • and if u pay attention to poker u'd know he came 238th the year after, outlasting all other wsop champions that year.. 2nd in a wsop event in 06 where he should have had the title, has won a wpt title..made the final table of a wsop circuit event, his tourni winnings are estimated at 10.7 million thats 3.4 million AFTER this win ..read your facts before you speak u dumb inbreed

  • 3.2 mill***

  • WOW, you are a complete moron aren't you? You're parents are siblings? Joe is the best player to win the World Series main event in a long while (except maybe Eastgate?), you my good sir are a moron. Joe is also much better player than greg Raymer btw.

  • he called because he hit 2 pair, odds are the opponent most likely wouldnt have hit, hachem thus made a claculated risk becaue he was chip leader and called, with his 2's

  • i dont think the rest of the final table players got paid what they deserve. once you make the final table anyone can win depending on the run of cards. theres not much out playing goin on at this stage when the blinds are so high players become committed to pots . hachem just got lucky to not be involved in any coolers or bad beats and he gets 6 million more than mike matusow

  • that was a great wsop, best all round, hope 08 can match it

  • extreme

  • Hachem and Dannenmann had such great chemistry for final opponents. They had a couple televised hand encounters starting from when there were <27 players and they engaged in friendly banter each time. I don't think ESPN could have picked two better players for the final.

I don't know how long their heads-up battle was, but it would have been interesting to see it all.

  • oh sry i was already on turn =)

  • Why the hell did Hachem call with his pair of deuces?...

  • HE HAD FLUSH DRAW

  • Yes, spectrus4u. I'm sure that's the answer. Especially since he called the 2mil bet AFTER the river, and flush draws are oh so valuble when the river's already out.

  • pot odds u idiot, and he wldve picked hannemann to be trying to buy his chips...

  • i was going for dannoman [or h/e you spell it]

  • i only play online, but i imagine how the old masters must grimace at how so many of the hands are effectively turned into a lottery draw nowadays

  • I know the wsop coverage is edited but it seemed hachem played like4 hands total, maybe he was card dead toward the end of the tourney but he mucked his way to the victory basically and let everyone else knock out themselves out not a terrible strategy

  • The finalist in 2007 against Jerry Yang used the same technique. Only played premium hands troughout the final table... not a bad idea considering the difference in cash...
