Canada is not multicultural, only toronto and vancouver are, I live only two hours from toronto and I never see any visible minority's. And I believe multiculturalism works well until it comes to a time when the majority race or religious group become a minority (Toronto 2017) thats when there is going to be racial and religious conflict, just look at France and Britian and what Islam is doing to them.
Well I agree with you on regards to multiculturalism that it doesn't exist to an extent. Most immigrants in Canada integrate well and we don't have much ethnic conflict. But Europe's policies are ridiculous when it comes to integration and to compare canada to France is fuckin dog shit because we worked hard to create this society. It has not failed yet and there won't be much ethnic conflict either. Nobody cares about this stuff as much in Canada.
I went to a Canada Day celebration one year & bought a plate of food from an Italian guy wearing a shirt that said "Life is too short to not be Italian." Such disrespect is shown "only in Canada".
I don't like organized Canada Day celebrations because they celebrate every country EXCEPT Canada! You can tell the dancers in this video are thinking "Oooooh, I'm so proud to be Yugoslavian!!!"
@Reido2828 Well we never gave it a chance to develop did we? We just assume that it can't exist. So instead of coming up with our own culture, we fill our deficit with others. Does that seem like a constructive thing to do? In any case, I've seen some great dance crews in Canada that make up their own moves, use western music and prefer to use their own creativity. THAT is Canadian dance, and if we gave it a chance, it would come into its own too.

@Reido2828 What you say is true, but I think the vast majority of Canadians and people in general will agree that we don't need to be a WHITE country - we're a western country, but race has no place in western values. One of the defining parts of our culture has always been that we don't care what your race is, only what your culture is. I know some very well integrated Asians - trust me, it's possible. We're better off culture concious but colour blind.

Europeans have invented almost everything the last 500 years but nobody says anything cuz of upsetting other cultures here. Canada has lost a lot of its roots and doubtful we'll get them back
