  • Great job on this - excellent arrangement and so nicely done. I sing it too. It seemed a bit short, so I added a 4th verse . (hope no one is offended -- please see it as a messy part of 'folk tradition' to do things like that)

  • I heard him play this song last night at an Irish Descendants concert in Toronto. It was the song that I remembered most from the evening and I was sad to discover it isn't on one of their albums, but then I found this! Thank you! A new favourite.

  • @folkmusicgirl I should have replied to your post earlier. I do have a solo CD that includes this song. The album is called The Whistling Thief and it's on iTunes. I always forget to promote myself!
