It's pretty easy actually. You make a flammable paste and then spread it on a piece of aluminum foil, then, at the right time, lay the foil over the inside of the cymbal and ignite. They kept the foil folded up in their jackets until it was time to light it. The foil protects the cymbal from the fire and allows for the flammable material to be concealed safely until it is time to use it.
omgg its awesome how they light the cymbals on fire :) 2 bad we cant do that next year but oh well
