I think the reason that Glutathione has a whitening effect is that once the illness is being cured, the iron stored in the body becomes less as the body no longer needs to hide it from germs which by the way use it for energy and their very survival!. this is stupid, if its sublingual, it can't be absorved, mouth doesn't produce the enzime to break down the molecules of any kind of protein or aminoacid (like gluta), only carbs are broken and absorved.

actually... caucasian people like to get tan to make themselves look healthy and fit. Also, being tan tells something about their social stature, like, they are tan because they can afford to go to tanning beds or have the time to go to the beach and just lay there just to get a tan.

In places where most people work outside and are thus darker skinned (e.g. India, Philippines, etc.), only the rich can afford to be fair-skinned. Hence everyone wants to have fair skin.

In places where most people work indoors and are thus pasty (e.g. USA, England, etc.), only the rich can afford to get a tan. Hence fair skin is not valued in these places.

L-glutathione is the mother of all antioxidants (Vitamins A, C, & E...though I'm sure there's more, but those three are the basics), and everyone needs it to clean out toxins in their body.

It's not that people want to be hella white, they just want better, healthy, even-looking skin and only go a few shades lighter. But there are people out there who want to go to the extreme. In this case, people who wanna be like M.Jackson. skin bleaching is bad and so fake!!
