I don't care what gays do, want or practice. I will respect them as long as I get respect for what I believe. Gay marriage to me is plain wrong. Gay civil union I have no issue with but when the liberty they so desire encroaches on my morals and beliefs I will object. Gay marriage is win lose. Gays win the right to have a marriage but christians and non christians who hold marriage sacred will be the losers. No wonder homophobia is rife. Seek equality but not at the expense of others.
@signature1990 I understand most of your position, especially in terms of freedom of speech but how does someone else's marriage celebration encroach upon your morals and values? My morals only concern me. Why do you care what others do if they are not hurting anyone? I don't really understand how married christians will 'be the losers' if gay marriage is legalised?
@theomorphia Not sure, perhaps we should ask the ultra religious amongst us. Not one gay advocate has yet explained why civil union with the exact same legal standing as marriage is not an acceptable position to adopt. What about a new word for gay marriage, Gayrriage (no joke and no disrespect). Gay marriage is like the term boyfriend and girlfriend. Years ago the gay community wanted everyones "significant other" called partner. That upsets heterosexuals. I dont want my wife called partner.
What makes this even more sad, is that these same Jews in Israel are using the very same tactics that the Germans used on them in WW2 by relocating Palestinians away from their homes in order for them to expand into their territory. They steal their sources of water, their farms etc. And yet the so called leave no one behind liberals, defend the world's largest open air prison. American media and Hollywood have taught you well folks ;)
Give a man the opportunity to fight for "equality" (eg Protestants accusing Catholics of hoarding wealth, starting a movement, only to end up stealing and hoarding that wealth for themselves), and they will prove themselves just as hateful and bigoted.
@clubindiana4 (who is gay) quoting me in (the church) "helped alot of immigrants find affordable housing"
Right....just like the Nazi Pope "helped" Jews find affordable housing in concentration camps.......Catholics are real hero's!
This is proof that western men are becoming walking vaginas. A WOMAN had more balls to exercise her freedom of speech publicly then our politicians or any other man who pander to minority fringe groups who hold the rest of us hostage with their liberal indoctrination.
@clubindiana4 Exactly how do they hold you hostage? I am a Christian, I have not held any gay man under hostage. Nor have the majority of us.
Look to Canada where 75% of us are Christians. Gay marriage is legal, but that was NOT enough. Now the LGBT also has a caucus in government. its the old addage, give an inch, they take a mile. "Equality" used an excuse for power.
You sound like a black hip hop group that blames the white man for many blacks going to jail.
@clubindiana4 Again, it wasn't Carrie who asked the question. Prez is pissed because she didn't answer the only correct way in the manner the others HAD to out of fear. And the fact that she lost based entirely upon how she answered his question, well that should show us something. There is only ONE right answer with the bigotted "holier then thou" left. Everything else is political, career, community standing suicide.
@JenniferBuddington Then you've chosen a role model with an IQ below 80 ... Not sure whether that's a good idea if your IQ is higher than that. 100 is average.
She keeps her title despite posing in underwear when she was underage, yet loses the USA pageant for her "christian morals and free speech". Carrie, Carrie. Just stop.
aww poor girl she was well within her right to freedom of speech, she never tried forcing her view on anybody else so i dont see what the problem is to be honest
@TheUKmenace Freedom of speech now a days means you are only allowed to speak in favor of the liberal left idealogy. Speaking against it poses risks to your career, public standing etc etc.
@Tsuruta1 Blacks who pretend to be interested in protecting traditional marriage just so they can continue to be ENABLERS for their violent destructive, so-called traditional marriages certainly is relevant!
How do your "marriage" vows go? I promise to hate, dishonor, and beat the hell out of you?
And then you pretend that you are in a position to judge gay marriage.......what a joke!
Census data for 2000, which included a count of the number and race of all individuals incarcerated in the United States, showed for each state that the proportion of blacks in prison populations exceeded the proportion of whites among state residents in every state. In twenty states, the percent of blacks incarcerated was at least five times greater than their share of resident population.
Overall, African Americans were victimized by intimate partners a significantly higher rates than persons of any other race between 1993 and 1998. Black females experienced intimate partner violence at a rate 35% higher than that of white females, and about 22 times the rate of women of other races. Black males experienced intimate partner violence at a rate about 62% higher than that of white males and about 22 times the rate of men of other races.
The relationship between race and crime in the United States has been a topic of public controversy and scholarly debate for more than a century. Since the 1980s, the debate has centered around the causes of and contributing factors to the disproportional representation of racial minorities (particularly African Americans, hence "Black crime") at all stages of the criminal justice system, including arrests, prosecutions and incarcerations.
Aug 22, 2010 – Cook County, IL has 4,174 registered sex offenders according to the Illinois State Police. The majority of them are listed as African American. Typically when one thinks of a sexual deviant, they conjure up images of a white man in a long trench coat. But today the guys on the registry do not fit that description. Blacks make up around 26% of the population in Cook County, but 57% of those on the registry. Hmmmmmm.................
clubindina frustratingly replies to Samc023, "You know Sam.....you and your partner Tsuruti are the perfect example of why gay marriage is so important!....."
@Samc023 I kind of thought the same thing, but anytime if you happen to be in agreement with someone else that also opposes the views homosexuality from vehement LGBT, they usually resort to that foolish talk of the opposers becoming couples.
Remember, there's an upload on YT of a student who was instructed to engage in a homosexual relationship by her professors at that university as part of an assignment, and they were going to flunk her if she didn't. They'll try anything to get their way.
@Samc023 Yep. :) When I gave that miscreant the opportunity for a genuine dialogue, shirking was one of many catalysts why this one didn't get any distance with me. Like a certain you-know-who, who shall remain nameless as we speak. :)
"When I gave that miscreant the opportunity for a genuine dialogue"
What can I say? you try to give someone the benefit of the doubt and try to exchange dialogue and ideals with respect and civility only to be disappointed.
"Like a certain you-know-who, who shall remain nameless as we speak. :)"
@Samc023 You know in regards to the LGBT who have left comments in respect of Prejean's answer. They do keep me renewed enough to know that they aren't all these vile, sinister, malcontents like Hilton and clubindina that are out there. And because of them, I hope the more secure LGBT never gets the brunt of their wicked sophistry.
so what she said that she thinks that marriage should be between a man and a woman its her beliefs. What did Prez want her to do lie and say that she says happy about it.She's entitled to her opinions and not everyone agrees with everyone. So what if she took pictures of her in her undergarments, who doesn't? when did America turn so unreasonable?
It has begun as predicted, the gay victimhood drama of clubindiana. Just like the incident with Hilton and Will I. Am. Hilton provokes the incident, gets whacked for it by another, accuses, lies and cries saying Will I. Am was the provocator. Be wary of these vehement gay fascist attention whores like Perez Hilton and clubindiana who shoots his mouth off. They are riddled with sickness.
@Tsuruta1 "Just like the incident with Hilton and Will I. Am."
Yes....just like that......(except Will I Am is a man and Tsuruti is a woman). A case of a black person who turns to violence when he is verbally defeated.
I blame the unqualified, poor quality Pastors in these "areas" where "Tsuruti types" live. Tsuruti is a direct reflection on the uneducated former pimps and drug dealers who lead these "quasi-churches".
"A case of a black person who turns to violence when he is verbally defeated."
Or perhaps a case of a homosexual or homosexual advocate who resorts to ridicule and ad hominem attacks whenever they're refuted and/or is unable to construct a sound argument with civility. One wonders how you can sit up and be so vocal regarding ssm, but likely wouldn't give a damn regarding other issues, especially when it comes to 12% of the populace.
@Samc023 "Or perhaps a case of a homosexual or homosexual advocate who resorts to ridicule and ad hominem attacks"
Ridicule? Ya.....gunna have to plead guilty.
Ad hominem attacks?........you wish!
Just because I pointed out that Blacks seem to have violence issues, Im suddenly anti-black? Nice try.......next time hold out a little longer before you play the "race card". You don't play poker, do you?
"Just because I pointed out that Blacks seem to have violence issues, Im suddenly anti-black?"
It wouldn't inherently make you anti black, yet if someone were generalize gay men as pedophiles you'd promptly call them a hateful homophobe.
"Nice try.next time hold out a little longer before you play the "race card".
Why wait? you made it a point to bring race into the equation when it had absolutely nothing to do with the topic, ergo why not play the "card" there is no "try".
@Samc023 "you made it a point to bring race into the equation when it had absolutely nothing to do with the topic"
Yet....this is clearly a valid tactic when debating with you....as you utilize this tactic often. For example: Your crazy obsession with incest and polygamy.
"Yet....this is clearly a valid tactic when debating with you....as you utilize this tactic often. For example: Your crazy obsession with incest and polygamy."
How would you know what I utilize often? to my knowledge up until this point I've never even had a discussion with you. Nice to know you're still shirking though.
@Samc023 You know Sam......you and your partner Tsuruti are the perfect example of why gay marriage is so important! Isn't life just super when you've got that special somebody on your team? Do I hear wedding bells?
@Samc023 I see that the gay fascist "clubindina" has been at it again fufilling my prediction with the gay victimhood drama talk. :) Totally irrelevant to the subject of this clip, and of course this cyberwimp lies in typical delusional, liberal fashion thinking there was a "victory" involved. And you're right, you can tell whenever this one is unable to construct a sound argument involving twisted contextual selectivity of another's dialogue. That's to be expected, being this one IS twisted.
@Tsuruta1 " pop you a new *sshole right in the forehead"
And now you turn to inciting violence........how typical. It is easy to see why 12% of the population is responsible for 25% of the crime in this country. And people wonder why 12% of the population makes up 50% of the prison population. True colors always show themselves in the end........don't they Tsuruti?
Many participants who might have been impressive earlier fail to impress the judges by their answers sometimes. The personal interview and the onstage questioning round together, count for 30% of the contestant’s total score. The contestant is marked on confidence, relevance of the answer, way of speech, tone spoken in, grammar and the content.
These questions are asked to judge the knowledge, intelligence and eloquence of a participant. A beauty pageant winner cannot just be beautiful by looks only; she must be intelligent and know how to speak with an objective. The question round in a beauty pageant is one of great importance; it is in this round that the potential winners are chosen based on their answers. It is considered one of the most spontaneous and difficult rounds in the whole competition.
......she should be sacked mr trump.....because she did not show sportsmanship when she criticized the decision of the judges.....descrediting the winner of the night......respect the decision of the judges is the real issue not your so called stance against gay marriage.....you are not the best girl to win that night.....just accept it.....
@fralipoli Beauty pageants are nothing but marketing tools for, and are sponsored by fashion industries, and many of the people that run them are themselves LGBT. Sure they could have stripped her of her title because of that sex tape, but they didn't use that. I don't care what anyone says, the sponsors told them, get rid of her or no more sponsorship. Sportsmanship? NONSENSE! But I'm glad she didn't win and was stripped of her CA title, but I say that in HER favor. She's better off without it.
@Tsuruta1 so you think sportsmanship is nonsense....ok, if that is the case then they should allow losers to file complaint after every pageant...... bwahahahaha...judges have opinions too.....as i;ve said they were the wrong judges for her...... by all means stick to her stance against gay marriage.....and stop criticising the outcome of the event....it's like telling the winner of the night -hey look you don't deserve that crown....well for her she doesn't....but for the judges she does...
@Tsuruta1.... fine, i respect your opinion...i respect carrie's position against gay marriage....but the real issue is -this is a contest....there are judges....there is a result....she did not win....but could not accept it....she tells the world she lost was because of her honest opinion....no no....she lost because the judges feel there is a more deserving winner.....what about the other 3 finalists....they also lost because the judges did not bite their answers/opinion.....
@fralipoli The contest is NOT the real issue, the real issue is how someone was being coerced with a polarizing, inappropriate, no-win question, and when someone gives an honest answer, she's called profane insults, told that she should have kept her beliefs out of it, and should have been politically correct. Her 1st Amendment free speech rights were being TRAMPLED, she already was prepared to lose, and if that's what takes to win cheesy contests, to hell with them.
Here we now see more irrelevant flippancy from clubindiana4 as predicted. :) Jews, Nazis, neo-conservatives, and thinking a racist like Helotes420 is of any consequence to anyone. I'm sure there's more to follow, but nonetheless none of that has a thing to do with this clip.
@Tsuruta1 Hey Uncle Tom........why don't you explain why gays are statistically likely to made a valuable contribution to society..........and you are statistically likely to end up in prison? Or.........why blacks represent 12% of our population....and are responsible for 25% of our crime? Take a lil break from your latent homosexual issues and explain that for us.
And here's where an idiot like clubindiana shows stupidity. Coretta Scott King's words are NOT doctrine, no one was talking about her or taxes. This clip is relating to a beauty pageant contestant who refused to be coerced by a gay fascist like Hilton to support something she doesn't believe in. So let's see what other sophism this miscreant comes up with. :)
@Tsuruta1 LOL....I see even Helotes420 has called you out as a coward! You must know how it feels to be the only Jew in Germany who joined the Nazi Party! Let me ask you.....who do you think that the white neo-con assholes that you are emulating would rather have as a neighbor.....a gay couple, or you? LMAO!
@Helotes420 And you have just proven just how much of a subverted, malcontented, idiotic miscreant that you've shown to be. You haven't a CLUE what civil rights are, let alone how to argue. And the LGBT I knew would LAUGH at a loser like you WITH me. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
@Helotes420 Your comparison is false. There are/were LGBT who may have disagreed, but didn't sense any hatred from Prejean in her answer, and they didn't like Hilton's coercive attempt either. To add, marriage itself is a prerogative, a privilege, not a 'right.' There's no law that requires one to enter marriage, in which one can't remain single. Government didn't give us nor create marriage, it only created benefits (perks) for it. That does not enpower gov't to redefine what it didn't create.
@Tsuruta1 Your comparison is also false. Even Coretta Scott King is quoted clearly outlined the similarities between the discrimination that gays and blacks endure. Your analogies are silly and juvenile.......the government didn't create taxes either, but it certainly does have a history of redefining them. It would behoove you to think before you type.
@Helotes420 Switch 'gay' for 'negro' and see how it sounds? Sounds stupid and it is. Reason being, homosexuality is NOT a race. To add Prejean never said LGBT couldn't marry, she just indicated that she isn't supportive of same-sex unions, nor was she or anyone else is required to do so.
@Helotes420 Im saying the way she answered it could have been WAY worse she could have just said "No I dont believe in that. Gays are wrong and they disgust me." But no she stood up for what she believes in and said it in the most respectful manner POSSIBLE" Like I said I totally disagree with her. Gays SHOULD haqve equal rights, no doubt about that. But it really did inspire me the way she carried herself instead of taking the easy way out.
To the naysayers, you really need to stop & think for a momment. You hate her just because she has a different opinion than you? Aren't you just spreading the hate? What kind of image is it giving to those who don't agree? Not a postive one. Not everyone is the same, accept it. I'm a Christian & I don't agree with gay marriage, HOWEVER, I believe in tolerance- not hate. I don't think it's okay to judge someone by his/her sexual orientation or opinion for that matter.
@Helotes420 Your fucking stupid Carrie spoke her mind in a RESPECTFUL manner and shes a beautiful girl shes the one doing paegents your the one at home on the computer I dont agree with her opinion but she did nothing disrespectful shut the fuck up seriously
Yeah, big whoop. The USA was founded on the first amendment, but seriously. If you're going to go on about your freedoms being trampled on, stop supporting the denial of the freedoms you're entitled to to people who are not like you. Yes, you had the freedom to say what you said, and we have the freedom to hate you for your hateful tirade. Cheers. :)
I'm so sick of the anti-gays being portrayed as victims. if you are going to be a celebrity, expect people to hate you, especially if you are opposing to a major civil rights movement. Gays are victims to inequality, not people like her.
@CeLticFire1251 #1 She was a victim, being called a "dumb b*tch", for not supporting something she doesn't believe in.
#2 She was ready to give up that CA title prior to them "stripping" her of it. Being a 'celebrity" isn't important to her, but the media made her one anyway.
#3 LGBT are allowed to get married, they just don't want to follow the rules like the rest of us.
Finally, GETTING married is a civil right, but marriage ITSELF, is a prerogative, a preference, not a 'right'.
@Tsuruta1 #1 But wait......isn't that criticism Perez's first amendment right that YOU defended earlier?? And didn't you say that secure people don't worry about criticism anyway?
#2 Was ready to give up the title according to whom? You mean the statement she made AFTER she got fired?
#3 Yes......in several states and several countries....LGBT are allowed to marry. Rules? With a 55% divorce rate.....are heterosexuals really qualified to made "marriage rules"? LOL!
@Tsuruta1 "Finally, GETTING married is a civil right, but marriage ITSELF, is a prerogative, a preference, not a 'right'. "
From "is a civil right".......to "is a prerogative"...............to "a preference"..........kinda seems like even you aren't sure of what it is? Do you want to think about it and get back to us? Thanks.
@Tsuruta1 1) if she chooses to be in a Miss USA competition, she is choosing to be a celebrity
2) I agree with you that Perez Hilton should not have done that, however, what do you expect when you openly support discrimination against a group of people?
3) "Follow the rules like the rest of us" are you saying that gay people should marry someone they don't love?
Finally......In this country, we are all expected to be treated equal, that is how our country was founded, who are you to say that
@CeLticFire1251 I'm glad she didn't win and was "stripped" of her CA title, and I say that in HER favor. Beauty pageants are in my opinion are CRAP. We ALL are going to be "discriminated" in some form or fashion, big deal. Heterosexual people aren't allowed to redefine 'marriage' to mean what they want it to mean, but LGBT feel privileged to do so, Right?? Prejean definately wasn't treated equal, Her 1st Amendment free speech rights were TRAMPLED by Hilton, saying how she should have answered.
@Tsuruta1 "Heterosexual people aren't allowed to redefine marriage to mean what they want it to mean..." That is because they have no need to, heterosexuals have all the rights they need while homosexuals are given a separate status, that is why we feel the need to change it so we are viewed as equal under the law. Her first amendment privilege wasn't violated, she spoke her opinion and people reacted. When you run for Miss USA, everything you say is judged. Perez already said that she could hav
@Tsuruta1 have answered it differently if she was against it, the way she answered it was offensive to gays and lesbians, would it be unfair if she didn't win because she said she supported the KKK?
@CeLticFire1251 Prejean never said LGBT couldn't marry, she just isn't supportive of same-sex unions and that's HER right. Don't hinge personal commitments like marriage on disinterested 3rd parties. They don't have to support them.
@Tsuruta1 Well her answer implies that had she had to vote, she would have voted against same-sex marriage. I am not hinging a personal comment, I am comparing it.
@CeLticFire1251 Well being that she was asked, that gives her, like anyone else, the forum to give her opinion on it. As I stated earlier, she never said LGBT couldn't marry, she just indicated that's she's not supportive of same-sex unions and that's her right. And since that time, she is now living the very answer she gave, having gotten married herself AND the only other person who's input was needed is her now husband Kyle Boller of the Oakland Raiders. She used no other 3rd party on it.
@CeLticFire1251 IF you elect to reply to me with flippancy, it's "shut up". I made that clear to that miscreant earlier. So he hasn't "outsmarted" me on anything. He's acting a fool.
@Tsuruta1 they are not replying with flippancy at all, in fact you are the one replying with flippancy when you say "shut up" and I have been reading the comments and this person.....is right and you cannot come up with an answer that's why you are telling them to shut up like a coward and then dismissing them as disrespectful when you are called out on it. All they did was state how you contradicted yourself and explain to you how state governments work, I don't see any flippancy in that.
@CeLticFire1251 There's no "they", just ONE. If you were to read you would see who that ONE is. And in your opinion, that one is..."right". I have a disclaimer on my homepage, which includes not to take anything out of context. I DO NOT waste time with people who do that, trying to play silly word games with me. That's a form of trolling. Now if you wish to discuss the subject of this clip with me, fine. And we may still disagree. But BE RESPECTFUL as I'm willing, or I'm not interested. Got it?
@Tsuruta1 I am using "they" because it is a gender-neutral term since I don't know whether clubindiana4 is male or female. Perhaps if you paid more attention to the English language you would understand better. I will only be respectful to someone who deserved it. I don't think it is respectful to use exclamation points or to tell people to "shut up" when they voice their opinions. I read the thread between you and clubindiana4 and I never once saw them be disrespectful to you.
@Tsuruta1 ignorant people like you I don't typically waste my time one but if you want to discuss the clip rather than the so called "troll" then go ahead. Only if you agree not to dismiss me on an irrational basis
@Tsuruta1 You already started calling someone who shared my opinion and gives rational answers a troll. And I don't know if you realize this but this conversation started when you replied to my first comment. I will not call you out as ignorant anymore, and I am willing to discuss this clip. So tell me what you want to say.
@CeLticFire1251 Yes I do remember initializing and replying to you, without any backup from anyone else I might add. And I disagreed with your comment in reference to Prejean and her answer, and as I've been pointing out, Prejean never said LGBT couldn't marry, she just isn't supportive of same sex unions and that HER right. And I already listed my four reasons against your first comment.
@Tsuruta1 And I have already rebutted your 4 reasons and have already said that her answer implies that if she had to vote, she would have voted against same sex marriage and she could have answered it differently if she wasn't supportive. Is there anything else you would like to add?
@CeLticFire1251 Go back to my reply to your rebuttal, and let's pick up where we were before you brought that troll in the discussion.
And uh, to show you the dangers of not thinking for yourself, you've been lied to. clubindindiana says I'm a "she" knowing I'm not. AND admitted having "made fun" of my theory, when I have proof to back it up. You still want to use this troll?
@Tsuruta1 I also rebutted that but I will do so again. Beauty pageant contestants are judged based on their answers, Carrie said two fatal words in her answer "no offense" and because her answer does have to potential to offend people, she should not have won. Who ever said that heterosexuals do not have the right to redefine marriage? They haven't tried because they haven't needed to. Homosexuals are still trying to get the term "marriage" redefined so they
@CeLticFire1251 But because that question was loaded, inappropriate, and a no-win, it became bigger than winning that pageant. No matter how she or anyone would have answered, one group would've been displeased. As for your latter comment, government didn't create marriage, didn't give us marriage, it only created perks for it. That does not empower gov't to redefine what it didn't create. The 5 states (New York) being the recent, only GAVE them what they can take back. I don't envy them at all.
@Tsuruta1 The government established the term "marriage" into the constitution, therefore, they do have the power to redefine it, look at NY and MA and all of the other states that have already allowed it. I do not like Perez Hilton but he was right when he said he could have answered the question a different way if she did not support it, in a way where she did not displease anyone.
@CeLticFire1251 'Marriage' existed before this country was even founded, therefore your initial reply was erroneous. Those states did NOT redefine marriage, they only created something they can take back. And WHO is Hilton to tell someone how they should answer whem his beliefs and views are not mainstream to everyone?? And because of that, that's why I now identify you as an enabler to vehement LGBT like Hilton.
@Tsuruta1 Yes. Marriage did exist before this country was founded, however, when the term was brought into the constitution, it was defined by ITS standards, which give the government the right to redefine it by ITS standards. And I already mentioned that pageant contestants are judged based on their answers, she gave a bad answer. That's why she lost, not because she's against it. And he is the judge which gives him authority to tell someone how they should answer in a contest HE is judging :p
@CeLticFire1251 And it's that "standard" LGBT don't wish to follow. You think marriage's a 'civil right', when it's not ruled a 'civility' or a 'right'. You're supporting an "uber-right" that the rest of us don't have which is to redefine marriage to be understood apart from what's already in place. And if Prejean's answer is 'bad', that only means Hilton's question is 'bad', and in the end, Prejean found how fake and non-sequitur the whole event is. Added reasons why I say they are CRAP.
@Tsuruta1 I am not talking about marriage alone being a civil right, I am talking about equality in general, THAT is a civil right and what are you talking about when you say you don't have the right to redefine marriage? If the state governments propose a bill that allows voters to decide whether marriage should be redefined, then it is the voters rights to redefine it. When I say "IT" i am referring to the STATE i though I already made that clear since I said it twice.
@CeLticFire1251 Your very 1st comment indicated that you think this is a "major civil rights movement" opposition, it's not. Reason being: LGBT ARE allowed to get married, they just don't want to follow the rules like everyone else. They want, (and now have in some states an "uber-right". And yes you've also referred to it being a STATE matter, and Prejean, as I'VE stated, has shown that one does not have to support it, and that's the right that one has. Too bad if you don't like that fact.
@Tsuruta1 "They want, (and now have in some states an "uber-right". "
How does that make sense? There are no State based gay marriage laws that exclude Heterosexuals. Heterosexuals are also free to get gay married if they so choose.
If gays were the only people able to get married in those states then that MIGHT be an "Uber-right"...........this, however, is simply not the case. Do you think this stuff through before posting?
@Tsuruta1 I don't know what you are talking about when you say "they don't want to follow the rules like the rest of us" what are you talking about?? In some states, lgbt COUPLES are not allowed to get married and that is a civil rights issue because they viewed as second class citizens. I don't believe anyone is a second class citizen in this country. And I already said that her answer implies that she would have voted against equality for gay couples
@CeLticFire1251 Heterosexual people, cannot redefine 'marriage' to include the spouse of another, an underage minor, a blood releative, multiple partners, OR an animal. They have terms for that already, (none of which I would want if I could). But LGBT are 'exclusive' to be able to do that?? And out of all of that even for a man/woman couple, no one is required to get married in which no one can't remain single. They ELECT to call themselves "second class," they're not. You've been deceived.
@Tsuruta1 Why would they want to?? We are talking about two adults in committed relationships, not people with multiple partners!!! Underage minors are not mature enough to understand marriage or its responsibilities, that's why that should be banned, animals cannot sign a marriage contract, so that's irrational. "And out of all of that even for a man/woman couple, no one is required to get married in which no one can't remain single" does not make sense so you should articulate that better,
"Why would they want to?? We are talking about two adults in committed relationships,"
Tsuruta1 actually makes a legitimate point. If heterosexuals aren't able to redefine marriage to accommodate all types of relationships then what gives homosexuals the right? As we have already seen there are a plethora of unions that don't meet the prerequisites for marriage, including plural marriages. If you see yourself as a 2nd class citizen then you aren't alone.
@Samc023 "Tsuruta1 actually makes a legitimate point."
Well, thats news! Where is it? I don't see it! Please point it out!
"then what gives homosexuals the right?".........as explained 17 times, only state government has the right.
"prerequisites for marriage"........you mean YOUR prerequisites?..........why would anybody care about YOUR prerequisites unless they were trying to marry YOU?
"Well, thats news! Where is it? I don't see it! Please point it out!"
You don't see or you simply refuse to see it? I made it quite clear in the first comment. There exist many different types of heterosexual structures that aren't recognized, things such as plural or triad marriages or unions between two close consenting relatives etc.
"you mean YOUR prerequisites?"
Oh, so you support polygamy, bigamy and incestuous couplings then? You must do.
@Samc023 YOUR=support? Huh? Could you walk us through your ration on that point? Do your best Sweety.....I just don't think that dogs gunna hunt.
Let me put it in terms you can understand.......when I eat corn for dinner TODAY, it doesn't put yellow specks in your shit TOMORROW. Other peoples marriages don't affect you. Did you know that?
Of course not, which was why I framed it in the form of a question, a question you had no qualms with dodging. It was a question designed to gauge just how deep your conviction lie when it comes to fairness.
@Samc023 I certainly hope Tsuruti doesn't see that last comment! He gets so wrecked when you try to involve "disinterested third parties" like polygamy, bigamy and incest!
"Could you walk us through your ration on that point?"
Why certainly. Since marriage is something in "particular" and not whatever anyone wants to make it then marriage has certain requirement that ALL must abide by. This isn't limited to only homosexuals but other heterosexual unions as well. So when you call yourself a 2nd class citizen by virtue of the fact you don't meet this criteria then you wouldn't be the only one. This has nothing to do with "MY" views.
"Really? You are reduced to scrutinizing my usage of the word "often?"
Merely going by the words you typed. You act as though you have a familiarity with my debating methods despite the fact that this is our first exchange. Perhaps you should refrain from presuming what "tactics" I utilize "often" then maybe your usage of the word will not be scrutinize, but I digress. I do however like how you continue to deflect, so press on, its amusing.
"After justifying your own deflection, you then examine mine"
What would I need to deflect from? as I am the one who posed the question, you've done absolutely nothing, aside from being obtuse.
"are the perfect example of why gay marriage is so important! "
And how exactly is gay marriage important? Surely you can provide an in depth explanation as to how pandering to only one group is important. Secondly Tsuruta was already refuting you long before I surfaced.
@Tsuruta1 FINALLY, I have not been deceived, as a gay person living in this country, when me and my partner are given a separate status, we feel as if we are second class citizens. Yes, we do ELECT to use the term "second class" because that is the way we see it, as a reality. OPEN YOUR EYES YOU ARE AN IGNORANT CONSERVATIVE SOUL LOST IN YOUR OWN OLD WORLD IRRATIONAL THINKING PATTERN!!!! OPEN YOUR EYES AND COME TO THE 21st CENTURY!!
@CeLticFire1251 Yeah, yeah whatever. :) What next? You want to call me a "homophobe", a "breeder", some silly misnomers like that eh? I've been called FAR worse, knock yourself out. :) And who IS your partner? that troll clubindiana4?? If so NOW it makes sense. HAHAHAHAHA!!! But hey, you can indulge all you want whatever you do with each other, but don't ask disinterested 3rd parties like the way Hilton tried to coerce Prejean into doing. Have a nice.......life?
@Tsuruta1 "disinterested 3rd parties like the way Hilton tried to coerce Prejean into doing"
If she were disinterested....why did she enter the contest? Is your ration "speaking in tongues" or something?......Is that why it doesn't make sense?
@CeLticFire1251 At first I really thought she was just being deliberately obtuse.......but, after witnessing that same juvenile (Im right cuz I said so) logic trap used on a few people......It kinda makes me wonder if maybe our dear, dear friend is a bit "special".
@Tsuruta1@clubindiana4 I see one day someone, (unfotunately for that person), is likely to pop you a new *sshole right in the forehead, NOT because your a homosexual, but because of that lip service of yours. Keep it up, it'll happen.
@Tsuruta1 and stop telling @clubindiana4 to shut up, this individual has a point and you are refusing to hear their side. Well, i guess that is typical of right-winged irrational people like you, silencing everyone who disagrees with you and marking them as spam, shows a lot about your intelligence.
@CeLticFire1251 clubindiana4 has nothing I have NEED to hear. Got it? I knew and worked with LGBT whom I have had a LOT more respect for. Why? They were, at least, SECURE and accountable, not gay fascist trash looking for enablers. Irrational, intelligence?? Those terms are ALIEN to you. Bye, Bye. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
@Tsuruta1 TSURUTA's THEME SONG I am woman, hear me roar In numbers too big to ignore And I know too much to go back an' pretend 'Cause I've heard it all before And I've been down there on the floor No one's ever gonna keep me down again Oh yes, I am wise But it's wisdom born of pain Yes, I've paid the price But look how much I gained If I have to I can do anything I am strong (strong) I am invincible (invincible) I am woman
@Tsuruta1 I'm not fascist trash, you don't like the message i am giving you so you are just going to dismiss me as you did with the last one, so ultimately you lost since you have run out of answers other than "shut up". I wish you the best of luck in life and I hope someday you come back to reality. Farewell my friend :)
@CeLticFire1251 Couple of delusional ones aren't you? As for your queen clubindiana, I see that's the one that mirrors the female in that counterfeit couple of yours. But if want to believe you've "won" something, fine with me. Now you might as well leave Prejean alone, quit whining about her and the rest of us that want nothing to do with accepting your distorted, sophistic, non-teleological ,homosexual sex ethics. Keep your gay fascism to yourselves. :)
@Tsuruta1 "Those states did NOT redefine marriage, they only created something they can take back."
Is it really that easy to "take back" civil rights? Aren't you a little worried that somebody might "take back" the advances in civil liberty your people have made? Are you saying that New York might divorce the gays and ship you back to the Plantation? How disturbing!
@Tsuruta1 Hey Sweety.....I found some information for you on Beauty Pageant Planet.com . OMG......did you know that the questions are supposed to be hard?
"No matter how she or anyone would have answered, one group would've been displeased."
Right....except there is a pretty big difference between "displeased" and "big fat loser". It can be challenging to be true to your faith and also be true to the principals of freedom and liberty this country was founded on. Carrie failed at that task.
@Tsuruta1 MY! You certainly have your undies in a bundle this today!
"and in the end, Prejean found how fake and non-sequitur the whole event is."
Hadn't she been participating in these pageants for years? Isn't it a lil suspicious that she suddenly found the event "fake and non-sequitur" only AFTER she lost and got fired?
I don't care what gays do, want or practice. I will respect them as long as I get respect for what I believe. Gay marriage to me is plain wrong. Gay civil union I have no issue with but when the liberty they so desire encroaches on my morals and beliefs I will object. Gay marriage is win lose. Gays win the right to have a marriage but christians and non christians who hold marriage sacred will be the losers. No wonder homophobia is rife. Seek equality but not at the expense of others.
signature1990 1 week ago
@signature1990 I understand most of your position, especially in terms of freedom of speech but how does someone else's marriage celebration encroach upon your morals and values? My morals only concern me. Why do you care what others do if they are not hurting anyone? I don't really understand how married christians will 'be the losers' if gay marriage is legalised?
theomorphia 1 day ago

Census data for 2000, which included a count of the number and race of all individuals incarcerated in the United States, showed for each state that the proportion of blacks in prison populations exceeded the proportion of whites among state residents in every state. In twenty states, the percent of blacks incarcerated was at least five times greater than their share of resident population.
clubindiana4 6 months ago

It has begun as predicted, the gay victimhood drama of clubindiana. Just like the incident with Hilton and Will I. Am. Many participants who might have been impressive earlier fail to impress the judges by their answers sometimes. The personal interview and the onstage questioning round together, count for 30% of the contestant’s total score. The contestant is marked on confidence, relevance of the answer, way of speech, tone spoken in, grammar and the content.
clubindiana4 6 months ago
These questions are asked to judge the knowledge, intelligence and eloquence of a participant. A beauty pageant winner cannot just be beautiful by looks only; she must be intelligent and know how to speak with an objective. The question round in a beauty pageant is one of great importance; it is in this round that the potential winners are chosen based on their answers. It is considered one of the most spontaneous and difficult rounds in the whole competition.
clubindiana4 6 months ago
......she should be sacked mr trump.....because she did not show sportsmanship when she criticized the decision of the judges.....descrediting the winner of the night......respect the decision of the judges is the real issue not your so called stance against gay marriage.....you are not the best girl to win that night.....just accept it.....

Tsuruta1 6 months ago

@fralipoli To hell with the contest, she wasn't even thinking about that, nor is she anymore today. And what you're talking about is irrelevant.
Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@fralipoli The contest is NOT the real issue, the real issue is how someone was being coerced with a polarizing, inappropriate, no-win question, and when someone gives an honest answer, she's called profane insults, told that she should have kept her beliefs out of it, and should have been politically correct. Her 1st Amendment free speech rights were being TRAMPLED, she already was prepared to lose, and if that's what takes to win cheesy contests, to hell with them.

So let's see what other sophism this miscreant comes up with. :)

clubindiana4 6 months ago
@Helotes420 And you have just proven just how much of a subverted, malcontented, idiotic miscreant that you've shown to be. You haven't a CLUE what civil rights are, let alone how to argue. And the LGBT I knew would LAUGH at a loser like you WITH me. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@Helotes420 Your comparison is false. There are/were LGBT who may have disagreed, but didn't sense any hatred from Prejean in her answer, and they didn't like Hilton's coercive attempt either. To add, marriage itself is a prerogative, a privilege, not a 'right.' There's no law that requires one to enter marriage, in which one can't remain single. Government didn't give us nor create marriage, it only created benefits (perks) for it. That does not enpower gov't to redefine what it didn't create.
Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@Tsuruta1 Your comparison is also false. Even Coretta Scott King is quoted clearly outlined the similarities between the discrimination that gays and blacks endure. Your analogies are silly and juvenile.......the government didn't create taxes either, but it certainly does have a history of redefining them. It would behoove you to think before you type.
clubindiana4 6 months ago
@Helotes420 Switch 'gay' for 'negro' and see how it sounds? Sounds stupid and it is. Reason being, homosexuality is NOT a race. To add Prejean never said LGBT couldn't marry, she just indicated that she isn't supportive of same-sex unions, nor was she or anyone else is required to do so.
Tsuruta1 6 months ago

CeLticFire1251 7 months ago
@CeLticFire1251 #1 She was a victim, being called a "dumb b*tch", for not supporting something she doesn't believe in.
#2 She was ready to give up that CA title prior to them "stripping" her of it. Being a 'celebrity" isn't important to her, but the media made her one anyway.
#3 LGBT are allowed to get married, they just don't want to follow the rules like the rest of us.
Finally, GETTING married is a civil right, but marriage ITSELF, is a prerogative, a preference, not a 'right'.
Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@Tsuruta1 #1 But wait......isn't that criticism Perez's first amendment right that YOU defended earlier?? And didn't you say that secure people don't worry about criticism anyway?
#2 Was ready to give up the title according to whom? You mean the statement she made AFTER she got fired?
#3 Yes......in several states and several countries....LGBT are allowed to marry. Rules? With a 55% divorce rate.....are heterosexuals really qualified to made "marriage rules"? LOL!

3) "Follow the rules like the rest of us" are you saying that gay people should marry someone they don't love?
Finally......In this country, we are all expected to be treated equal, that is how our country was founded, who are you to say that
CeLticFire1251 6 months ago
@CeLticFire1251 I'm glad she didn't win and was "stripped" of her CA title, and I say that in HER favor. Beauty pageants are in my opinion are CRAP. We ALL are going to be "discriminated" in some form or fashion, big deal. Heterosexual people aren't allowed to redefine 'marriage' to mean what they want it to mean, but LGBT feel privileged to do so, Right?? Prejean definately wasn't treated equal, Her 1st Amendment free speech rights were TRAMPLED by Hilton, saying how she should have answered.
Tsuruta1 6 months ago

Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@Tsuruta1 Well her answer implies that had she had to vote, she would have voted against same-sex marriage. I am not hinging a personal comment, I am comparing it.
CeLticFire1251 6 months ago
@CeLticFire1251 Well being that she was asked, that gives her, like anyone else, the forum to give her opinion on it. As I stated earlier, she never said LGBT couldn't marry, she just indicated that's she's not supportive of same-sex unions and that's her right. And since that time, she is now living the very answer she gave, having gotten married herself AND the only other person who's input was needed is her now husband Kyle Boller of the Oakland Raiders. She used no other 3rd party on it.

Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@Tsuruta1 they are not replying with flippancy at all, in fact you are the one replying with flippancy when you say "shut up" and I have been reading the comments and this person.....is right and you cannot come up with an answer that's why you are telling them to shut up like a coward and then dismissing them as disrespectful when you are called out on it. All they did was state how you contradicted yourself and explain to you how state governments work, I don't see any flippancy in that.
CeLticFire1251 6 months ago
@CeLticFire1251 There's no "they", just ONE. If you were to read you would see who that ONE is. And in your opinion, that one is..."right". I have a disclaimer on my homepage, which includes not to take anything out of context. I DO NOT waste time with people who do that, trying to play silly word games with me. That's a form of trolling. Now if you wish to discuss the subject of this clip with me, fine. And we may still disagree. But BE RESPECTFUL as I'm willing, or I'm not interested. Got it?
Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@Tsuruta1 I am using "they" because it is a gender-neutral term since I don't know whether clubindiana4 is male or female. Perhaps if you paid more attention to the English language you would understand better. I will only be respectful to someone who deserved it. I don't think it is respectful to use exclamation points or to tell people to "shut up" when they voice their opinions. I read the thread between you and clubindiana4 and I never once saw them be disrespectful to you.
CeLticFire1251 6 months ago
@CeLticFire1251 Do you want to discuss this clip, or that troll, who's followed me on other clips talking trash? Which is it?

CeLticFire1251 6 months ago
@CeLticFire1251 Do want to rephrase that offer? I said we may disagree, but I didn't start out calling you 'ignorant'.
Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@Tsuruta1 You already started calling someone who shared my opinion and gives rational answers a troll. And I don't know if you realize this but this conversation started when you replied to my first comment. I will not call you out as ignorant anymore, and I am willing to discuss this clip. So tell me what you want to say.
CeLticFire1251 6 months ago
@CeLticFire1251 Yes I do remember initializing and replying to you, without any backup from anyone else I might add. And I disagreed with your comment in reference to Prejean and her answer, and as I've been pointing out, Prejean never said LGBT couldn't marry, she just isn't supportive of same sex unions and that HER right. And I already listed my four reasons against your first comment.
Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@Tsuruta1 And I have already rebutted your 4 reasons and have already said that her answer implies that if she had to vote, she would have voted against same sex marriage and she could have answered it differently if she wasn't supportive. Is there anything else you would like to add?
CeLticFire1251 6 months ago
@CeLticFire1251 Go back to my reply to your rebuttal, and let's pick up where we were before you brought that troll in the discussion.
And uh, to show you the dangers of not thinking for yourself, you've been lied to. clubindindiana says I'm a "she" knowing I'm not. AND admitted having "made fun" of my theory, when I have proof to back it up. You still want to use this troll?
Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@Tsuruta1 I also rebutted that but I will do so again. Beauty pageant contestants are judged based on their answers, Carrie said two fatal words in her answer "no offense" and because her answer does have to potential to offend people, she should not have won. Who ever said that heterosexuals do not have the right to redefine marriage? They haven't tried because they haven't needed to. Homosexuals are still trying to get the term "marriage" redefined so they
CeLticFire1251 6 months ago
@CeLticFire1251 But because that question was loaded, inappropriate, and a no-win, it became bigger than winning that pageant. No matter how she or anyone would have answered, one group would've been displeased. As for your latter comment, government didn't create marriage, didn't give us marriage, it only created perks for it. That does not empower gov't to redefine what it didn't create. The 5 states (New York) being the recent, only GAVE them what they can take back. I don't envy them at all.
Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@Tsuruta1 The government established the term "marriage" into the constitution, therefore, they do have the power to redefine it, look at NY and MA and all of the other states that have already allowed it. I do not like Perez Hilton but he was right when he said he could have answered the question a different way if she did not support it, in a way where she did not displease anyone.
CeLticFire1251 6 months ago
@CeLticFire1251 'Marriage' existed before this country was even founded, therefore your initial reply was erroneous. Those states did NOT redefine marriage, they only created something they can take back. And WHO is Hilton to tell someone how they should answer whem his beliefs and views are not mainstream to everyone?? And because of that, that's why I now identify you as an enabler to vehement LGBT like Hilton.
Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@Tsuruta1 Yes. Marriage did exist before this country was founded, however, when the term was brought into the constitution, it was defined by ITS standards, which give the government the right to redefine it by ITS standards. And I already mentioned that pageant contestants are judged based on their answers, she gave a bad answer. That's why she lost, not because she's against it. And he is the judge which gives him authority to tell someone how they should answer in a contest HE is judging :p
CeLticFire1251 6 months ago
@CeLticFire1251 And it's that "standard" LGBT don't wish to follow. You think marriage's a 'civil right', when it's not ruled a 'civility' or a 'right'. You're supporting an "uber-right" that the rest of us don't have which is to redefine marriage to be understood apart from what's already in place. And if Prejean's answer is 'bad', that only means Hilton's question is 'bad', and in the end, Prejean found how fake and non-sequitur the whole event is. Added reasons why I say they are CRAP.
Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@Tsuruta1 I am not talking about marriage alone being a civil right, I am talking about equality in general, THAT is a civil right and what are you talking about when you say you don't have the right to redefine marriage? If the state governments propose a bill that allows voters to decide whether marriage should be redefined, then it is the voters rights to redefine it. When I say "IT" i am referring to the STATE i though I already made that clear since I said it twice.
CeLticFire1251 6 months ago

Do you think this stuff through before posting?
clubindiana4 6 months ago
@Tsuruta1 I don't know what you are talking about when you say "they don't want to follow the rules like the rest of us" what are you talking about?? In some states, lgbt COUPLES are not allowed to get married and that is a civil rights issue because they viewed as second class citizens. I don't believe anyone is a second class citizen in this country. And I already said that her answer implies that she would have voted against equality for gay couples
CeLticFire1251 6 months ago
@CeLticFire1251 Heterosexual people, cannot redefine 'marriage' to include the spouse of another, an underage minor, a blood releative, multiple partners, OR an animal. They have terms for that already, (none of which I would want if I could). But LGBT are 'exclusive' to be able to do that?? And out of all of that even for a man/woman couple, no one is required to get married in which no one can't remain single. They ELECT to call themselves "second class," they're not. You've been deceived.
Tsuruta1 6 months ago
@Tsuruta1 Why would they want to?? We are talking about two adults in committed relationships, not people with multiple partners!!! Underage minors are not mature enough to understand marriage or its responsibilities, that's why that should be banned, animals cannot sign a marriage contract, so that's irrational. "And out of all of that even for a man/woman couple, no one is required to get married in which no one can't remain single" does not make sense so you should articulate that better,
CeLticFire1251 6 months ago
@CeLticFire1251

So.........wheres the legitimate point?

@clubindiana4
You must do.

clubindiana4 6 months ago

"Could you walk us through your ration on that point?"
Why certainly. Since marriage is something in "particular" and not whatever anyone wants to make it then marriage has certain requirement that ALL must abide by. This isn't limited to only homosexuals but other heterosexual unions as well. So when you call yourself a 2nd class citizen by virtue of the fact you don't meet this criteria then you wouldn't be the only one. This has nothing to do with "MY" views.
