one thing I noticed is that you move the middle a lot when working on the first layer. This takes way too much time and usually isn't the best technique.
Also, on the first layer, start with the edges rather than the corners. Corners are easier to insert afterwards.
You should spend some time lubricate the cube, that was way to slow
