Lots of people were quick to put down the MIU album when it first came out. But I think that kind of criticism is a little wide of the mark. OK .. so the maharishi's influence, in any way, by the 1970s, is v. unfortunate. But a close listen to many of the songs reveals hidden magic in that project, just the same. THIS SONG was 1 of the best on MIU. This 'rarity' arrangement is of course quite a deal different, but v. appealing .. & for we BB & BW hard-core fans, this posting is pure gold !!

This is a very cute tune by Brian Wilson and REEKS of Mike Love lyrical influence.
The idea is ok...but, as you say, is a little creepy coming from grown men. lol
Since it's The Beach Boys...they are forgiven. ;o)
