I saw these guys in 1969 when I was 16 at a place called The Boston Tea Party, maybe seated 1000 or less people, not a big place, The Stooges opened, both excellent bands and I had never heard of either one of them before that night. I think admission was 2 bucks, haha! I couldn't hear for 4 hours afterward.
Alvin Lee. One of the worlds greatest guitarists. From my home town of Mansfield Nottinghamshire England. He was the Grandson of the local cub scout leader. Great video
..Alvin naszybszy gitarzysta świata we wspaniałym Love like...sztandarowy kawałek imprez studenckich...wspaniałe czasy ..ale taka muzyka nie przemija, pozostaje na zawsze..10 Years After ..kocham Was..
I grew up with TYA, but sadly, I never saw them live. No doubt Alvin is a great guitarist...yet I always loved his voice just as much as his guitar skills.
saw them at alexandra palace in 1973 and feet didn't touch the ground during concert. brilliant stuff,. wishbone ash were there too and that was damn good too. great rock years.
Blackmore, A. Lee, Albert Lee, Gallagher, Allmans, Hendrix, Clapton, Beck, Page, Buchanan, Gatton and much more. Those where the heighdays of Rock. Now its just dead.
Un de mes groupes cultes:j'avais enregistré ce concert ,diffusé par canal+,sur cassette ....que j'ai égarée et je recherche le DVD... Heureusement ,you tube est là pour recréer quelques instants de bonheur.
Saw them for $3 on wed. @ FMWest Carousel Ballroom after Woodstock. They played for 2 1/2 hours and Leo Lyons fingers were bleeding over his Gretch bass near the end. :)
Love this song. Love this version. Love everything Alvin does. Thanks for uploading.

Looks like the original bass player Leo Lyons, he always moved his head a lot. He also filled things in nicely during Alvin's extended leads.
