well...the producer Tanaka has said it's on it's way to 360 too now (@Gamescom in cologne)....it'll definately not be on the initial release date, but it'll be before late 2011 imo....5 - 6 months late maybe

Actually, they were initially planning on a 360 release as well, but they already figured out they will hardly have a market for it, so they aren't doing it anymore. Goes hand in hand with why the states is one of the only places they'll be releasing FFXIII on the 360.

PC is not a console last I checked. Why make such a big deal about which console its going to be exclusive to...360 will have its mmo's and PS3 will have its own. I will be playing this on my HP Laptop and PS3 when its available. Till then i'll be playing Aion to hold me over. 4 Year FFXI Veteran here. Now I just wish SE will reveal more info on FFXIV soon!

Sony will probably buy out the exclusivity however they will release it on the PC which most gamers have so there's no point arguing. I have a PS3 and a PC I play best of the both world when most of the 360 games are on the pc so you don't miss out on much. Be happy with whatever console you got.

PC is NOT a console, as it stands right now its a PS3 exclusive game for the console market. Im pretty sure this will play a hell of a lot better on a PC than on a PS3 though, MMOs just arent meant to be console games

FFXI actually did play very well on ps2 as well, so long as you ha da keyboard, simply because it was made to ustilize a keyboard and didnt really lend itself to using a mouse, even on the pc version. I am sure they will do something similar.

He does not say that it is exclusive. He says that the only console that the title is available on, at release, will be the PS3. From the wording, it seems mostly that it will be a "timed exclusive".

If you want to play the game, at launch, on a console, you need a PS3. Beyond that, it's out of his control. They clearly don't have a binding exclusivity agreement with Square-Enix on this title.

I would imagine that most of the models and textures would be stored on the hard drive. Video and music could be streamed from the disc. Which is exactly what would be done with a PS3 version.

It's also what has been done with FFXI and its four expansions that are available on the 360.
