You've made a mistake.. in diesel, when you want to accelerate you must take optimal rpm's not 4,5k :( my 1.3 CDTI engine accelerate fastest at 1900-3000 rpm, here in boxer engine will be the same effect at 1400-2800rpm :( try it and upload new video..

@GTBerni if you want to accalerate you need defentively POWER and not torque and maximal power is standard at about 3600 rpm and at >3800 rpm there is less power. With good ECUtek Tuning you have maximal Power at about 4000 rpm and still at 4500 there is something that puts the car forward. In this video it looks well done :)

You need the maximal torque if you want to drive uphill and don't want do shift down!

Why do you start 80-120 and 80-180 at around 3000 rpm ? Can you shift up to bring rpm to 1800-2000 ? The torque at >3000 rpm is less than from 2000 to 3000.

@tizali78 you can do 220 in stock! Drove it over 100km with pedal to the metal and it was showing a bit over 220! So even with the speedo error it'squite nice. A guy in Audi A3 tdi with 170 horses couldn't keep up with subarus 150bhp :)

Hi there that looks great, i have the legacy diesel also. Did that invalidate your warrenty?

My warrenty will end by 2011 begin of the year. A tuning session like this has been made, in a soft way, with high quality standard. I shouldn't have any problem in relation with it. It's easy to check it out : if the car smokes, or if your consumption increases, you 'd better choose another process, or go back to your stock version.

@Elmoucronno so till when? How many km on odo? Ours gave up at around 48kkm and it isn't heap at around 1600 euro! But the regular driver didn't take into account that starting at regular basis over 2k rpm will do the carnage. There is a service call to reprogram ECU's in order to get max torque at a bit higher revs to save clutch. At what revs do you get those 420nm?

@bartekmachaj Hi, I have a litle bit more than 90K on the odo, that means almost 50K modified.

Since I made this short movie, some adjustments have been made: this Legacy shows now 195pk/434Nm... Pic torque rises smoothly between 2200 to 2800 rev's. I also made the dpf empty ans changed the stock exhaust with a custom made stainless mufflers, in order to hear a true boxer sound ! have a look to: vimeo dot com com slash16215295
