I saw her perform a couple of times about twenty five years ago. I remember being frightened nearly to death by the sheer animal force of her voice. They used to say that her vocal range went from lower than a man to higher than a monkey. I have never seen anyone to compare her to. My old friend Nina Hagen came close.
