@finstrike7 Unless you're a girl (or sounded like one), had a decent audio recording set up and were willing to commit to all 12 chapters, no matter how long it took! That's problem I had with casting other actors for these, and why I've decided to do it alone. :)

@Tom3744 Thanks Tom. Tried to arrange multi actors on another project (including females), the whole thing turned out to be a nightmare. Biggest problem (among many!) is that they wouldn't commit to the entire series, and I would have to recast the roles for every chapter. I decided that I either do these alone, or I don't do them at all.

Red Hulk turned out even better than I'd hoped; I have no plans to make Blackest Night, I was hoping pixofactor was going to do it, they uploaded a few test videos for it (and it was a hundred times better than anything I could ever do!), but that was awhile ago so I hope they haven't scrapped it. @irish66 She's with an audio drama troupe called Gypsy Audio (excellent audio dramas btw), she even recorded lines for me for Part 1, but I can't have her do all the lines for all 8 parts, she has her own work to do. I haven't entirely given up on the project, I just need to figure out a better way of doing it.

audiodramatalk. it's a community for people who produce audiodrama. you might find some ladies there who would voice female characters in any upcoming projects you have. No, they wouldn't charge you.

@darkempire37 Thanks dark! I still think Watchmen was the best of the motion comics. The recent crop that both Marvel and DC are producing, as entertaining as they are, are far too close to animation to really be considered motion comics.

Okay, I just did a quick Google search and it seems there are several software aps that do "voice changing" and a couple of them are even free. Check Screaming Bee's website for MorphVOX.

Sure, I can see that adding other personalities could make things complicated. In that case, is there anything that can be done with processing the audio recording to make it sound more like a female? I haven't researched it (and certainly have no experience) but it seems like there ought to be some tweaks that might make it sound more natural. I have to admit, your Catwoman voice wasn't terrible, but it didn't sound quite right. Poison Ivy was a bit more off.

Excellent so far. Your voice work is very good, overall. l'm especially impressed with your Batman. You remind me of Kevin Conroy in the Batman Animated series, which is as high a compliment as I can pay. However, I have to agree with the other commenters who suggested that you need a female voice for Catwoman and any other female characters involved. Either that or try tweaking the pitch for those lines. The off-sounding voice takes us out of the story.

All right, I agree with everyone that having female voice actors in these would be great, but not going to happen. I have too many problems working with other people, trying to coordinate and working around their schedules, waiting for their lines, waiting for them to re-do their lines, them deciding they're not doing it anymore...

@dickmit ...having to find replacement's at a moment's notice, etc, etc. This is just something I like to do in my spare time, at my own pace, by myself. And I still think they're pretty entertaining, even if it is just me doing all the voices. There are many full-cast professional productions being done, this is not one of them. It is just something simple I make on my PC with a USB studio mic and about 200 gb of sound effects and soundtrack albums. Please enjoy them for what they are.
