really really really really dope. I wanna know how he does the writing with the different colours in the line, like the one he held up with the green writing.
pretty sure he uses many different mediums - acrylics, oils, markers, powder pigments, for his mark making, and creates transparent washes or opaque marks from them.. the specific colors Im not sure..
...he definately has had the greater advantage of inspiration. grew up in puerto rico, moved to miami, and now lives in brooklyn. nevermind he's had numerous shows in asia and in europe.
Look at him draw on the canvas. That is a hand possessed! No hesitation just fluid confident movement and divine inspiration. Among the best painters alive today!
i totally actually do not understand why this is art? no or like the meaning in it or somehting. like, how do you see the beauty or whatever in this work? someone please help me.
why do you wanted art defined. the fact that you are asking questions about it made it substantial for you. it made you think about it wheather you like it or not. The man obviously puts his heart into it therefor it is art. mission accomplished
for me it's the overall rhythym of the piece. there's a power in the directness and the accumulation of his line. Think of calligraphy and how you can discern a state of mind just by the manner of the brushstrokes.
he is my favorite artist
