  • Good video bad camera.

  • I thought Elmo Fudd was a cartoon character....

  • Well I've done alot more with this I added a power sorce and put momentary switch in a housing an I can pick witch color is turned on do try it if you can!

  • 0:25 what did you do this time?? (in the backround sounds)

  • The long one is longer than the shorter one XD

  • thats what ive been doing wrong *facepalm* :D

  • nice background music dude

  • WTF!! dont people know how to use a fu-king tripod with a pre focused area for the shot

  • It's annoying how American's pronounce soldering, saw-da-rin.

  • if your a brit fuck out

  • Nope, a NZer.

  • This is why i didnt get into electrics, this guy seems a little fucked up from it lol

  • What is the color pattern for the resistor?

  • I was enjoying the video until I got to the pointless editorial on "man sex" being "completely vile." (around 1:32ish)

  • @russofamerica I actually thought that kicked the video up a notch. But then again, I'm on pain meds.

  • @russofamerica that was the best part

  • I'm surprised you had luck with soldering with that piece of shit cold heat soldering iron!

  • How do RGB LEDS work since they have 4 legs instead of 2 legs such as regular white LEDs? How different is it to solder with 4 legs than the regular 2 legs?

  • Did you wrap the wires around the 3 long legs and then the negative wire with resistor to the short leg? Kinda hard to see in the video. Let me know ASAP thanks.

  • RGB LEDs with 4 legs have 1 common and 3 leads, one for each color. It's like 3 LEDs in one casing, sharing a common lead.

  • This guy cracks me up!

"That's my secret. I'm not telling you."

  • Does it matter which end of the resistor you solder to the LED

  • no.

  • of course

  • im pretty sure it needs to be the negative side sinse the negatives travel back to the positive end of the battery but i could b wrong i just started this stuff in school

  • haha sodemy. that wuz funny.

    haloceam3n(.)tk

  • Oh man. you are funnny. hahahah. "wash your hands well after using solder if it contains lead: you don't want to get stupid from soldering" LOL

  • GREAT ! Now take us the next step and teach use how to make a circuit board of 500 LEDs lights, water proof it, so i can illuminate the plants in my fish tank. I did enjoy your tutorial by the way, all sodering aside of course. :)

  • Are you serious? You used a coldheat on LEDs? You use a coldheat at all? FAIL...

  • Firetruck in the back round at the beginning?

Srry made a fire trying to cook. lol jk

    Thanx nice vid

  • Hmmm.. good vid... btw I'm gonna add a LED to my soldering iron, nothing like seeing what ur soldering...

  • Dude cold heat sucks balls Get a Weller 25 Watt or something tat u plug in. Its retarded. lol like really its much easier to solder

  • Thanks, that was great!

  • cool thanks for the tutorial.

  • nice..

  • So those "Cold Fusion" soldering irons aren't some rip-off gimmick thing.

    Neato.

  • if you keep the tip clean they are OK and are soldering surfaces of electronics that are designed to be soldered to. You have to cross the gap on the tip for the spark to go and heat to be produced. More recently I have been using the old fashioned iron - you dont have to watch the battery life that way too

  • actually my dad bought one from wal greens or something. same one hes using, and it never worked for us. only worked once, and after that, it crapped out. would be handy if it lasted.

  • Thanks! That's exactly what I needed to know. I have an old motherboard, and I wanted to solder two LEDs directly to the front panel connector pins since I just have the motherboard laying on my desk, and not inside a case.

  • Awesome! I learned how to solder and that man sex is vile!

  • dude, that was great, any chance of you making a video on how to wire a LED rig to illuminate a guitar amp head or cabinet??

  • Cool!

  • if your trying to learn how to do this then its not zzzzzzzzz

  • yes , i know i feel smarter =P

now i know how to do this whenever i need to.
