I love the PlaySation 3 Internet Browser. Flash Player 9, tabs, downloads etc. Plus its actually very fast too. Not Firefox or Chrome speed of course, but fast none the less.

its actually pretty nifty (im on it right now)

it supports alot of web content well

when you get use to the control sceme its really useful only thing i recomend is a usb keyboard

plus u can actually download photos,music and videos onto the hdd from the internet straight to your ps3

After seeing the E3 conferences, I think MS and SONY really have some hard competition coming up on DLC pretty soon.

Putting Linux on your PS3 is not the best thing for beginners, I have Ubuntu on my PS3 and tons of GB/GBA/NES/SNES/DOS games on it with emulators... problem is flash does not work natively in FF on PS3 Linux unless you compile gnash.

It's great but you need to DIY a lot because little is compiled for PowerPC.

With regards to Linux, the whole reformatting and partitioning the hard drive and backing up the data could put a lot of people off because tech knowledge required.

Frankly I was kind of disappointed at E3 in general this year. other than FF XIII for 360 there were no real surprises, other than the shocker (and not necessary in a good way) which is the new 360 dashboard.

Well I put on Linux after my 80GB's HDD went in my laptop(had a 40GB in it) and the PS3 got a new 320GB... love it, fits lots of HD movies and music, everything loads faster too.

Nintendo at E3 was ass TBH, MS and SONY were decent, SONY being a bit better just because it kept me form falling asleep, but the RESISTANCE demo should of been a recording or another level, tat one is not impressive to the street levels when zombies run at you.

I think the idea of this video is to point out failings in systems that really don't have an excuse to fail. The PS3 boasts that it has a CPU 10x more powerful than most PCs at launch; yet the browser on it is a pile of crap (I have one I so I know).

Is somthing I hope they will fix. Yes I have a PC but will happly surf the web on my TV insead of the PC if the PS3 made that realistic!

Actually u can press 2 on the wii mote to lay everything into boxes and make text and pictures bigger. Plus in the final version the zooming and scrolling is so much better i watched a car crash on youtube and i zoomed right in it was awesome. this only has a slight anti-wii slant... note the xbox and xbox live references... it does say its a beta buddy chill out. further more, actually owning and using this system, it isnt that bad and as to the download time... maybe he should try moving his wii closer 2 his router. mine takes no time at all, further more, there is an inaccuracy: keyboards are not yet supported by the USB port so you CANNOT as of yet use one... thats it, this vid sux lol

Hmm, because when I posted this video back in December, I also tested the most recent apple keyboard, and guess what it worked as well with the Wii as it did with the PS3 and Xbox 360. I personally like the Wii but at this point the online is a sad joke of what it should be. Hell the only online support that the Gamecube had was from SEGA, the pioneer for online gaming on consoles.

Well first write a script. Then have at least adequate recording equipment, (Hell even buying a half way decent microphone and jacking it into a mini DV camera is a good start) also get familiar with a video or audio editing program. I recorded the narrative in bits, then edited out all the mistakes/ long pauses. I went back and fourth editing the video to the narrative and the narrative to the video. That and you have to have a good voice for narration.

Get a Wii60. The PS3 brings nothing new to the table. If your into graphics, get a xbox 360 because with most of the 3rd party titles, the 360 is the lead platform (because its easier to develop for) and then the titles get ported to PS3, leading to inferior copies. If you want innovative gameplay get a Wii, because motion control is a joke on PS3 like browsing the web on both consoles.

actually the wii browser is good... i like it and im posting this in it. the download for me take about 5-6 minutes, and you can see the page in columns if you cant read it, but i use the zoom, if you know how to use it, its very handful, because if you didnt know the zoom depends in where the cursor is, in texts is more deep than in flash or images. also it haves a cellphone type of keyboard like the one in the ps3
