  • i think louis's achievements and how he dominated his era is the most impressive but ali beat some menacing opponents and beat more greats than anyone so i give him number 1.. louis 2 but i'd have no problem with it the other way round

  • @28rampage As far Louis boxing record he the greatest.

  • @PREZ150 - Lmao... " Tyson would of broke Marcianos record if"... If ifs and buts were berries and nuts we'd all have a merry X-mas. If only the tinman would have had the great Rooney whispering in his ear he would have never lost. Tyson lost EVERYTIME his opponent came to fight. You show your pure ignorance by repeating what you heat other idiots say. Tyson in his prime...Tyson in his prime...you sound like a retarded parrot.

  • @28rampage I agree with that.

  • I would like to hear your opinions on Marciano vs Fraizer , that would be a barn burner

  • @WorldMilitia Wow both the same height similar body frames.Well it would be a body killer fight.Hmmmm? Rocky was a two handed killer and Smokin Joe was one handed left hook master. Both could go the distance with a torn up face.Man World this one I got to think about.Did somebody say Rocky ?

  • @PREZ150 yeah, marciano vs fraizer would be a great fight. I would like to have seen tyson vs fraizer too.

  • @WorldMilitia Tyson with wins with in 3 rounds.Fraizer wins 8 thru 15

  • I think george foreman is underated. Likely because he lost to ali. But styles make fights and no matter who the fighter is someone out there will be able to beat him just because of conflicting styles. Ali had to take a beating to wear george out. Ya ali was the smarter fighter. But the guys that gave ali trouble got the crap beaten out of them by foreman. For foreman to beat people worse than ali did in the golden age of heavyweight boxing should count for something.

  • Yo Prez, anything new from you? Wanna hear some of your views on the Hay - Wladimir disappointment and generally, what's your opinion on the heavyweight boxing scene of today?

  • Whats up Prez? You haven't done a video in ages, btw check out my boxing videos, you might like them.

  • @MrBumboclart Whuz up yea I know I been busy .Got to get another web cam.The I will be back.I will check your boxing videos.Have good day.

  • For those of you who know who Too Tall Jones was ( and truth be told, most of you probably don't ), he was a professional football player who played the defensive end position, and retired with 57 quarterback sacks.

Anyway, Jones was 6'9" and 255 lbs during his boxing career. He had all but 6 pro fights, yet won all of them.

I think a man of his size and toughness gives the Rock some problems....

    perhaps even beat him.

Yeah I ran to a trend of Rocky vs Jones.

  • @greek1237 Too Tall Jones was joke not a real fighter. The Rock was real fighter. No contest.

  • @greek1237- WTF are you babbling on about? Did you see Jones' pro debut? You have to be a real idiot or some kind of racist to even make such a comment.

  • @1899sharkey

Also the point was that Marciano has fallen in the H2H thing when people claim he cant beat Too Tall Jones.

  • And I definitely agree that Marciano wouldn't retire undefeated if he fight in the era after his. I agree, that no one should take anything away from Marciano. But realistically, he beat over the hill legends and actually struggled with a number of them.

  • @expressivechild I think Marciano is over rated because his 49 and 0 record. He didn't stay long enough to be tested.I would like to see how Rocky would've done against Patterson and Liston in the late 50's

  • @PREZ150 - That's the thing. I doubt he is able to stand against many of all time greats of the 60's and 70's. The so called superfight predicting Marciano winning Ali in a fight is so absurd. The Ali portrayed in the fight is like an Ali nearing the late 70's when he is already fading badly. And the Marciano portrayed is like a prime Marciano. Ali don't even work the body and they make Ali look as though he is slow, flat footed. That further convince me that Marciano really was overrated.

  • @expressivechild Yea Rocky would've lost with Ali in a real boxing match.

  • @expressivechild

Marciano is getting under rated, We are now on boxing forums fighting over if L Spinks, Ike, Briggs, Rahman, Cooney, and Roy Jones jr and James Toney would beat Marciano. Marciano has fallen from the elite, and hardly getting pick over the 2nd rankers in these dream matchs,

  • @PREZ150

Marciano would be 37 years old when Liston hit the scene. I would not ask that for any one. Patterson perhaps, but in Patterson's auto bio, he covers a fight with Marciano, and how Cus didnt feel he"Patterson" was ready for a puncher like Rocky yet. Cus was either wait until Marciano slide, or retire. No swarmer made it to age 37.

Tyson, Dempsey, Frazier, were over the hill by 30 and retire by 32 for the most part.

  • @expressivechild

Its not Marciano's fault that the so call over the hill legends were beating the youngers like Valez for title shots. Had Marciano face the younger guys in his rein, we would be having arguements if He duck the likes of Charles or Moore to have easy pay days over the likes of Nino and Baker.

  • @greek1237 ~ I didn't say Marciano duck, and I definitely wouldn't take nothing away from The Rock but I have to agree that he may not beat these legends if he is fighting in their era. Everyone has the right to say Marciano is a top ten heavyweight because of his 49-0 but for me, records is not everything. No doubt he deserve his due credit. I don't question his heart, toughness, power and durability but I don't consider him a top ten, just my opinion though..

  • @expressivechild

Forget the 49-0 record. He is one of the few guys to totally clean out his era. Only Ali, Louis, Tyson, and Lewis would be able to repeat or start that feat. Even if the Rock had a lost or 2, he should still make a top ten list because of his cleaning out the era. He was the king of the heavyweights of the 50's like Ali was in the 60's70's, Tyson in the 80's ete. That alone should put him over the likes of Bowe or Moore, because they didnt rule there eras.

  • For me, I find it hard to put anyone else on the No. 1 spot but Joe Louis. Muhammad Ali comes next for me. In terms of opposition quality, Ali fought the greatest opposition of any heavyweight in history. Joe Louis, unquestionable and fundamentally the most perfect heavyweight boxer. I have considered a lot of things on other fighters, I still think Joe Louis has to be No, 1.

  • @expressivechild Yea you right Joe Louis was the perfect fighter. He will always be number 1.And yes Ali is a respectable second.Marciano would be third because of his 49 and 0 record.

  • @PREZ150 - Well, Monte Cox said it right. Any list of greatest heavyweight without Ali and Louis as the first two would be a bad list. But honestly, I wouldn't out Marciano in the top ten. That's just my opinion though.

  • @expressivechild I give Rocky number 3 slot because of his 49 -0

  • @PREZ150

I give Rocky number 3, not for the 49-0, but for cleaning out his era. Only Louis, Ali, Marciano, I suppose Tyson, and Lewis clean out there eras.

These guys get the top spots for cleaning out there eras. There are no Harry Wills waiting for 7 years for a title shot like Dempsey, or not fighting Jack Johnson like Jeff should have, They didnt struggle to be the top dogs like Max Baer or Jack Sharkey did, didnt go into exiles and left top contenders waiting.

  • You haven't posted a video in a while, what's up?

  • im the biggest ali and tyson fan especially iron mike its just sad how he let hes demons get to him and his game i think ali and tyson if they were to fight in both their prime that would have been great who would you think would have won if they ever fight? i mean they came from diffrent eras but if they fought in thier prime right now would you think would have won?

  • @LacostraNostra24 A 1967 Ali would have dance circles around Tyson on the outside keeping Tyson at bay with his speedy jab.Tyson would've bob and weave making Ali miss some of his jabs. But would had hit Tyson head when he came up.Tyson would've try to kill Ali body but Ali would've hold Tyson head down in the clitch making Tyson tire as the rounds went by.By the 8 round it's all Ali after that Tyson would had ben to tire of chasing ali the all night and Tyson face would've been torn up from--

  • @LacostraNostra24 Continue : Ali jabs by 9 -10 Tyson would had tire and Ali would've on put the after burners in the later rounds jabbing tyson face at will on a more flat footed tire buffe faceTyson.Again Tyson try to get under Ali jab but Ali would've tie Tyson up on the inside.By 11-12 Ali catches Tyson in the corner with a speedy combinations combo Tyson tries to bob and weave but het to tire and hurt so he tries to hold on to Ali.The referee breaks the the clitch.

  • @LacostraNostra24 Continue 3# As they both come to the middle of the ring Ali fires a jab and combo again Tyson tries to hold on to ali onthe inside the bell rings ending round 11.Round 12 Tyson dont have nothing left he trys to come in with looping left hook but dances out of the way by inches again Ali shoots his speedyjabs as tyson come in.Tyson trys to bo and weave but still get hit by Ali faster jab.Ali keep on the outside of tyson power and starts to jabe and use speedy combinations.

  • @LacostraNostra24 Continue 4# Tyson trys to to block and bob and weave but Ali combinations is hurting Tyson.Tyson backs up, Ali is all over a slow moving Tyson The referee stops the fight in 2:34 on the 12 round. Ali wins by technical knock out over Tyson.

  • My list is slightly different. I have Louis #1 Maricano #2 Ali #3 Jack Dempsey #4 Jack Johnson #5 Gene Tunney #6

  • @kingofthehill2130 Hmmmm? I take that we will leave Louis in 1 place because his perfect boxing style for knock outs and his longevity as champion Maricano in 2 place because of his 49 and 0 record..Ali in 3 place because of his speed and agility and the frist to win heavyweight championship 3 times.I put Johnson in 4 place and Tunney 5 because of there defensive scientific boxing skills.Dempsey in 6 because of his raw fighting style but also because Tunney beated him two times.

  • @kingofthehill2130 Hmmmm? • I agree with the 70's that Marciano would not have retire unbeating. But the 60's was not that strong.

Had Marciano been there and not Ali in the 60's. I think it would have been a repeat.

Who was there?? Old Liston? Shot Willams and Folly?? I dont think any one would have beating Marciano in the 60's imo. Yeah the 70's were a step up. But I Belive the 60's was one of the weaker eras.

  • Comment removed

  • hey black sneezing retard :) you have soul for sure

  • @gandoncikas Did you say mother is sneezing out that meth.

  • Also, Rocky Marciano will most likely get schooled by fighters of 60's and 70's.

Joe Louis and Ali are definitely the best heavyweights. Can't put both higher than the other in my opinion. Foreman would've have been greater if he didn't retire after Ali fight.

  • @icecraz3 Foreman would have been a better fighter if he learn how go the distance in later rounds.

  • in my opinion muhammad ali is the greatest hw ever, he faced everybody , ali 64-67 would beat any hw ever.

  • 1. Muhammad Ali. 2. Jack Johnson. 3. George Foreman. 4. Larry Holmes. 5. Mike Tyson. 6. Joe Louis. 7. Sonny Liston. 8. Rocky Marciano. 9. Joe Frazier. 10. Lennox Lewis. By the way, I like the 'fro.
  • @chunkyscotty Good one I would of put Gene Tunney in there.Oh my Afro.lol I try growning one for the frist time in 30 years.I had it for a few months than it became a hassle. Now I'm back with short cut hair style.

  • @PREZ150 hey, who do you think is a better combination puncher, Joe Louis, or Mike Tyson?

  • @vashkniveslaz131 Both was in there own era. Both was text book book fighters.

  • absolutey! Joe had 25 title defenses! Ali is my fav though. Marciano was a tough guy but IN MY OPINION doesn't rate three. Thanks!

  • prez id like to see your top 10 or so pound for pound

ill do a quick one sugar ray robinson, harry greb, henry armstrong, sam langford, benny leonard

  • @TheMemphisjim I like your's boxing men you put there. You think like me buddy.

  • Prez, here's mine. #1. Muhammad Ali #2. Joe Louis #3. Larry Holmes #4. Lennox Lewis #5. Sonny Liston #6. Jack Johnson #7. Evander Holyfield #8. George Foreman #9. Joe Frazier #10. Mike Tyson
  • @TommyGun7111 Hmmm ? oK but I think Foreman should be 3 #.But your top ten is is good.

  • @PREZ150 I think Larry holmes should be 2 and sonny should be higher than lewis and same with tyson.

  • @PREZ150 i agree 100%, foreman the number 3,

liston the number 5? hahahaha it is a joke, but you know, tommgun is 11 years old hahahah.

joe louis was greater than foreman IN THE HISTORY but i think foreman70-73 would ko louis, holyfield, liston, jonhson, holmes,tyson,lewis...

  • ill go top 3 ali , johnson, foreman

joe louis had bad balance he couldnt fight a moving boxer billy conn a light heavy beat him for 13 rounds until he got cocky and tried to finish him, jack johnson picked louis getting ko'ed louis is great but not top 3 , jack johnson was the most complete heavy ever

  • @TheMemphisjim I go with top 5 Ali,Forman,Johnson,Marciano,Louis and maybe Mike Tyson if he was a good boy.

  • @TheMemphisjim I cant believe you even put Johnson up there LOL.

  • Muhammad Ali is the Greatest in terms of beating the rest, for example he would beat joe louis, he would have smacked about tyson weather tyson was in his prime or not, he would have beaten rocky marciano to a pulp. Hands too fast, feet too fast, footwork the best ever seen by man, and a granite chin with a heart of a lion, he would have beat tyson no matter what and i mean prime ali 64-66, invincible.

  • @MultiGreat1 Agree with that.

  • ali was the best his style was based on self presevation and there is nothing wrong with that also ali was a pure head hunter i dont think i ever saw him throw a body punch. if america had let him keep developing as a fighter instead of shutting him down it probably wouldnt even be disputed.

  • @xotatumxo You r correct buddy.

  • Prez150 u r a nigger faggot!!!!

  • @grant9091 This is not racist channel dummy.Get a life.

  • I'm not sure if you've already done a video on this but what about Sonny Liston vs Mike Tyson? Hard decision.

  • @MrBumboclart Both strong fighters .But Tyson would be too fast for Sonny to handle. But I could be wrong.

  • JCG below at best explained my piont of view, I'm not speaking for these viewers, just observing all the responces to the question of who was the greatest heavy weight boxer? I myself loved the style that ali put forth in the ring, He's no. 1 in my books.

  • We as viewers, meaning every one that saw the fights take place will always give an account of who is the best fighter based on their own life expeirience, meaning IE- was fight done by the rules and reg's put forth (scruples I'm talkin) You will hear stark differences of opinion by every one. Just look at the list of videos to the right of this box. IE-Mike tyson goes crazy ect.ect. Most of this took place out side of the ring, and has nothing to do with the fight it self.

  • @curtbarile Who told you to speak for the viewers. And all other the stuff you said is bull shit.

  • When it comes to boxing, all opinions may count cause there is some things that are missed by us, and other people can see ,and relate life experiences to connect to the moment in the fights in the ring. Am I talking Too much here??

  • @curtbarile Huh ?

  • 1. Muhammad Ali

    2. Jack Johnson

    3. Larry Holmes

    4. Joe Louis

    5. Lennox Lewis

    6. George Foreman

    7. Mike Tyson

    8. Sonny Liston

    9. Joe Frazier

    10. Evander Holyfield

  • @RingmasterKO Hmmmm? Here mine 1# Ali 2# Louis 3#Johnson 4# Foreman 5#Tyson 6#Marciano 7#Frazier 8# Tunney 9#Dempsey 10#Lewis

  • ROCKY MARCIANO IS THE # 1 CHAMPION

  • It's the age-old question that everybody's asked,

and there is no way for any man to give a definitive answer.

Until you can put each man in the ring against each other

at their prime, Its a matter of opinion, and nothing else.

I prefer to make a list in no particular order, because its

easy to say Joe Louis was the best, but its also not hard

to imagine Mike Tyson catching him with one shot that

puts his lights out. Anything can happen when we're

    talking about the elite guys.

  • @JGCBoxing Just like you said it's a matter of opinion

  • #1. Muhammad Ali

    #2. Joe Louis

    #3. Larry Holmes

    #4. Lennox Lewis

    #5. George Foreman

    #6. Rocky Marciano

    #7. Jack Johnson

    #8. Mike Tyson

    #9. Sonny Liston

    #10. Jack Dempsey

  • Tyson could have beaten all of them but to keep it real-Joe Louis is no 1 and probably Ali 2 as far as accomplicements go but any of them would have a tough time with a Tyson,Holmes,Johnson and a few others.

Respect them all-that's the most important thing!

  • @swedishtysonfan WHAT WITH PEOPLE AND FIGHTERS LIKE JACK JOHNSON, JACK WOULD HAVE BEEN KO'D BY EVERY BOXER TODAY, THEM BOXERS BACK THEN IF THEY WERE TO BX NOW WITH THAT STYLE THEY WOULD BE LAUGHED AT, LIKE BEGINNERS THESE DAYS.

  • @MultiGreat1

The fighters of the past may have a hard time in today's world,

but I also believe that not many top fighters from today would

have been able to compete at the same level 80 or 100 years ago.

These guys today fight 3 or 4 times a year, if we're lucky...can you

imagine these modern guys having to fight every couple of weeks?

Today's fighters may have more refined skills, but they are no where

near as tough or determined as the legends of the past.

  • @MultiGreat1 Jack Johnson would OBLITERATE ANY boxer of today.

  • @nojokenygren well you have probably never boxed before or was never a boxer and i am so theres no point of me waisting my time.

  • @MultiGreat1 What? If you did box, or know anything about boxingJack Johnson had the Greatest defence of all time, and he could take a punch form any of the heavy weights today.

  • @nojokenygren well i do and i know you dont and jack johnson did not have the best defence hhahahahahahahaha are you mad.

  • @MultiGreat1 Of the heavy weight Jack Johnson DID have the best deffence.

  • @nojokenygren prime tyson had a better defence than him so did ali so did gene tunney, and now wladimir klitchko does.

  • @nojokenygren Jack Johnson was great defence boxer for his time. But Jack would've had lift his hands a little higher for the jabbers of today.Johnson would've adjusted todays modern fighting.

  • @MultiGreat1 Yes I did in my youth smart ass.

  • @PREZ150 what did i say to you

  • @MultiGreat1As smart as Johnson was he would've adapted to modern way of boxing

  • I like Foreman, and then Tyson. I don't believe in the "best". It's like that old fire, water, grass thing.
