I left one thing out! Reggae, is a Rastafarian word that means "King music." Reggae, in some other form is not a modern invention. Therefore, I think the lyrics are perfect for the music. Infact, Matisyahu's reggae, with it's spiritual vibe, is far more true to the real roots of the music than that of Jamaican artists, accepting Bob.

Reggae music originated from Ethiopia, therefore anyone white, black, pink, Polish or Jamaican who isn't Ethiopian cannot claim the music as their own. Peace!
