Thanks for this video! I'm relaxed and I can do the same thing with my hair...would you mind uploading more videos on styles you can do with your hair this way?
It looks beautiful!!! Some naturals have a loose curl pattern just like this, so honestly, I couldn't even tell your hair was relaxed. If I was texlaxed, I'd try it b/c I definitely like the looser curls best.
Your hair looks really nice. I wasn't aware that you can get this result with relaxed hair. I currently wear a very mild relaxer, sort of texturizer. I will try this as an alternative to always applying heat. Thanks again for posting!
My hair is still doing this even with bone straight relaxers. I'm wondering if my hair is 4a/(3ZZZ maybe?). One thing I notice now is protein conditioners and oils with protein makes my hair do this. I went to my beautician who gave me a bone straight relaxer and my hair still waves when wet. Whatever it is, I'm getting used to it now and I'm starting to enjoy wearing this style without doing a braid out..... Bless you!
Yes, at this time my hair was texlaxed. Now that it is relaxed I can no longer do this. May I ask, how long you have been natural? How did you transition? Thanks:)
do u texlax or ur hair b/c the only time i got this effect was when my permed hair was damaged. not sayin ur hair is damaged just wondering how u do this only because in my good perm days my hair air dried straight. hope i didn't offend u just curious n thanks 4 the upload. yeah I have 100% natural hair but never stuck up because to each her own!
This is a great hairstyle! I actually did this one time, being lazy to blow dry, and realized it did look nice. However, try to be careful not to do it in the winter you might get a head cold, if you're goin directly out in the cold. cool vid!!
I don't care what anyone says, i think your hair style is absolutely beautiful! I don't think a hair style should be limited to just naturals...Its not like ppl with permed hair say that naturals can't straighten their hair bc its "for relaxed hair only".
Wow ... no offense but the naturals commenting on this sound pretty stuck up... "wash and go" is not "your" word... and people with relaxed hair can do this too, look at this youtuber... thank you very much. =]
I don't see where anyone said "wash and go" was our term, because it isn't. But wash and go's were made specifically for naturals, not relaxed hair. This style wasn't made for relaxed hair, and it's made pretty clear by this video, no offense.
@CuddlyBubbles1 Na that was a long time ago lol... And I don't see anything wrong with this girl's wash n go, I actually find it pretty cute. I also don't see how a certain way to style your hair is made specifically for one hair type.. Just 'cause your not a natural doesn't mean you can't do a wash n go. That's like saying black people can't use shampoo, because a white person made it specifically for white hair.
I guess I have to keep practicing. My hair is really thick and I'm transitioning. I jus tried the wash n go for the first time and it doesn't look to hot lol
My hair is the same way. If I wash my hair it curlys up even though I have a perm and I've been doing wash n go's for a while but Yours turn out way better than I've ever got mine.does you hair have natural body like that or do u use certain products for your body cuzz my hair is just naturally flat or thin I guess but any whoo what would be your advice for that. BTW.. your are beautiful and so is your HAIR!!! I love it
The reason I ask is because when my relaxed hair is wet it's bone straight. I've only it air dry once so I don't know if adding conditioner will help. Any suggestions?
I can answer this. It depends on how your hair reacts to different relaxers. Personally used no-lye Regular, my hair would get bone straight. When I switched to Lye Mild relaxers my hair would retain some texture. You can do what is called 'tex-laxing' where you purposely under-process the hair to retain thickness and texture. Google it.
As long as your hair is healthy, it's good. Anyway, it doesn't really matter if her hair is super tight or very loose because, as she said, it's chemically relaxed.
My relaxed hair used to do this if I just put setting lotion and oil moisturizer on it and let it air dry...then it would start to get really big and fluffy. I didn't feel like I could pull it off as a style because my hair was long and it looked too thick and unusual. Yours looks great!
What is your natural hair texture? Because my hair texture has changed (due to my hormones) and my hair does this now with relaxers and i dont know how to care for it, but i noticed when i moisturize my hair it does like yours.
@watch2mefly ..omg I have noticed the same thing. My hair now curls up just like that and I am relaxed. I was trying to figure out what in the world was going on but i never thought about it being due to my hormones!
After you co wash are you able to use heat appliances to style your hair- dryer (either dome or hand-held) and a flat iron?? I would like to try co washing however I prefer to wear my hair strait in a wrap. Im scared that after a co-wash my hair will have too much buildup on it to use heat appliances.
i have been wondering how to do this. I hear so much about it hmmm im scared to try. I dont want it to turn out a hot funky mess lol but yours turned out beautifuL!
"Hot funky mess" Lol! Give it a try, you may have to fool around with a few products bofore you find what your hair likes, but I am sure it will be cute. Try s-curl, it works really well for this
...ok i will try it this weekend...luckily its a long weekend lol so if i mess up no one has to know hahaha if it turns out well i will post a vid. Thanks showing how to do it!
Thanks for this video! I'm relaxed and I can do the same thing with my hair...would you mind uploading more videos on styles you can do with your hair this way?

@keanna00 I guess so, but most people with relaxers have straight hair. This would work really well on a tex lax though.

Most people's natural wash n go's look shitty, just saying. Unless their hair is looser textured.

True, but most of the wash and gos I've seen look good (on natural hair that is) but yeah, they are better achieved with looser textured hair.

There is no way you should be able to run a comb through dry, curly hair. Relaxed OR natural. Period.
