  • omg Glorin is right!

  • Thats ma boy!

  • This video is stupid...it was a clean hit though its America we play American style hockey, not that European bullshit. If someone is skating at you getting ready to hit you then you have every right to hit him, the rules dont say you have to sit there and take a hit because you have the puck and he doesn't.

  • @bigmartin0789 "European bullshit" ROFL. Americans should L2P.

  • @Glorin You gain "position" in order to gain "possession". You need to gain position on the opposing player in order to "execute" possession. I understand what you are saying but the term "position" applies to different facets of the game. You can passively get possession by receiving a pass, or yo can actively get possession by physically positioning yourself to gain an advantage in order to take the puck.

  • He looks like hes going to be a good hockey player! Hes already keeping his head up and watching where other players are. Now just teach him to use his shoulder and not his elbow haha

  • wow, he actually had good form on that hit! he even had a pretty good follow through and it looked like good contact with the shoulder. It really looks like an NHL headshot in a slower pace and mini - mode. He's gonna be a bruiser

  • what arena is this?

  • @CanadianDutchman St. Margarets Centre, Tantallon

  • i like how they all skate to the bench at the buzzer even faster then when the game is in play

  • Real rules would have put your son in the penalty box for interference.

But most mothers know nothing about hockey to begin with. All it looked like was a collision.

PS - It's "posession" of the puck. Not "position"

    You from the states?

  • @rp1986 What????? Yes, it's called getting "position" on the puck. Possession (2 s's not 1) is the goal, but in order to get possession, a player must first get "position" on his opponent. I AM Canadian and also a nationally certified Coach BTW. And you're right, most Mothers "know nothing" about hockey. Obviously you're one of them, so hopefully, I've taught you something about our game here today.

  • 1:19 the actual hit (:

  • lmao 1:35 - 1:45

  • AT 1:07 look at the clock its like messed

  • @thosam128 It's Novice and we used to run the clock for a full 45 mins instead of breaking it up into three 15 min periods..nice eye though

  • CUTE ;-)

  • nice hit haha, and since when is there hitting allowed at the age of 6?

  • in russia. !!!!!

  • is that at center ice?

  • @Menofhemlock24 center ice is the red line in the middle

  • @snoglobe68 i know but their is also a rink called center ice and i thought it look liked it

  • @Menofhemlock24 sorry, no it's The Fountain Arena

  • @snoglobe68 ohhh

    its okay

  • PWNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • damn...tis kid is gonna kill kids later in life....that was actul;ly a good hit for the way they were playing

  • Wow. Fast game. It would be easier to follow if the puck had an electric light in it.

  • The Americans did something like that for their TV viewing audience in the late 90's I think it was....time flies so ya know...a blue streak behind the puck indicated a pass and a red streak behind the puck indicated a shot. We Canadians thought it was the stupidest thing we'd ever seen...lol. Not implying your stupid Will, don't get me wrong here...

Typical Canadian I am, eh! Apologizin'. I should make a Canadian reggae song call it "Apologizin' eh man!"

  • @snoglobe68 I remember that, I found it annoying as an American hockey fan as well. The only time I liked it was on big scrambles to have some idea where the puck is, or when it was along the near boards from the Broadcast angle and you lose sight of it as an audience, it would glow through the boards. It was done to make the sport easier to watch for people not familiar with the sport.

  • @snoglobe68 Well said haha

  • interference

  • haha it was dirty anyways

  • lmao

    1:40 - 1:45

  • haha i love the slow pace to the game and then the kid blazes to the bench after the buzzer

  • haha that kid got decked!!

  • Even at levels where you can check, that's still interference. The little man stopped going for the puck, and slowed down just to make the hit. While it was a fun hit to watch, it wouldn't be legal in any league :)

  • Tie Domi wouldn't stand out here!

  • lmao nice

  • where was that and that was a nice hit when he become a peewee hes with check people throught the glass

  • @davidpholtz fuck that he elbowed the shit outa him.

  • @skitfel at least he knows how to check bitch

  • I didn't see any elbow

    it was all shoulder shit

    look again skittle

  • i remember wen i skated like that lol it was a fun time haha

  • nobody thinks straight on the ice !!! you just do the first thing that comes to mind

  • @iPodCreations well you must be a shitty player then.

  • hahahah LEVELED.

  • lol thats funny ...i use to play in this...

  • 20,000 views. Thanks for you encouraging comments YouTube viewers. A complete surprise to me.

  • @snoglobe68 haha well everyone loves watching young hockey player beat the crap outta each other

  • he threw his shoulder into that one. he will be a bruiser when u gets older.

  • bitch got raped

  • that was a dope hit

  • is this rep

  • that was a nice hit, guy was picking at him trying to take the puck so bam he took him out, I see a future Bob Probert here :)

  • Natural thing to do I thought. He showed good instinct and that's hard to teach.

  • definately a natural thing to do, he was just trying to get position for the puck. It is hard to teach instincts

  • goin to be a good hitter

  • THT KID IS A GOON LOL just kidding

  • Nice Hit XD

  • yea I play for bedford blues.

  • Cool, so does my son. 1st year Novice

  • Is this at ST.Margarets Bay?

  • jeez. im 14 and im scared of him! let me tell u something sir. ive been playing for 9 years now...(5 years of travel)and if ur son keeps playing he'll be playing travel in no time. Good luck

  • Hahaha. thanks man. He's been keeping it pretty cool lately. A little body contact here and there but he knows I'm watching him. He's having a blast and I'll be sure to keep it that way for him.

  • sounds man good luck again

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH CRANKKKKED

  • ur son is gunna be a bone crusher when he gets 2 age love the vid. by the way is that timbits hockey?

  • Yes, it is Timbit Hockey, Level is IP2 just before Novice.

    Thanks for comment!

I've told him a few times to cool his jets on the hitting this year but I've got the camera on him "just in case".

  • ownd

  • Right on, thanks!

Notice after the hit my son stayed on one knee for a few seconds cause he thought he'd get in trouble from the ref. He knew he wasn't suppose to hit the kid but he said he thought it was what he was suppose to do. Of course I told him it was the wrong thing to do at his age level but when he hits PeeWee go nuts little dude!

  • once he gets bigger heill be the pheanuf out thier tell him i said great job!

  • Absolutely will. And thanks for the kind words of encouragement!

Merry Christmas, have a great New Year!

    Peace.

  • Yeh u too but when ur son gets older plzz put up his real first hit and first fight! Merry christmas!

  • Of course I will

  • Haaha all the defense are like beside the net
