Yeah, according to the album art on the CD, "The Genius of Scott Joplin" was recorded in 1960, just two years after Ann Charter's first recorded album "A Joplin Bouquet" in 1958. If I remember correctly though, the albums were not published by Crescendo Records until about 1974 or 1975, making them available after "The Sting" and Rifkin's recordings (I believe his recordings were dated somewhere around 1970-1972).
This is Ann Charters' recording. My version sounds very similar, except for a couple of parts of fancy key walking in the last theme. Someday I hope to get a camera so I can record myself and post on here to share with everybody.
this is one my favorite's of joplin if not thee favorite.

This amazes me, because this recording should have preceded The Sting and Joshua Rifkin's recording by a good 10 years...
