@tabbersmurf What???I don't know what did you read but what you wrote here is nonsence.It was not in the book.Faramir and Eowyn got married and had kids and stayed together.Legolas and Eowyn even didn't speak with each other in the whole book and movie trilogy.

Legolas is too good looking for Eowyn. She looks much older than him and elves age very slowly so after some years she would look like his grandmother. Awful! Besides that Legolas is from absolutely different background than her and those two would never go well together and Tolkien new it therefore he gave Eowyn to Faramir who understood and loved her.

I love Legolas and I'm glad Tolkien left him untouched and without any romance.

I agree with you, bronny026. Eowyn and Faramir is a good couple. They fit together and they have the same history, not really any good parent, both moters early dead. Faramir got a bad dad, Teoden is not good enougth as a father for her. Both got good bigbrothers that is trying to protect them.
