Completed this today, in 3rd place tho. At the tight "S" corner before the last corner untill finish line (2:11), i had to ram 3 cars at ounce lol

(TVR Speed six, Dodge Viper and Audi R8).

Nice driving, but I never have the patience to earn the money for the cars.. I haven't even unlocked S class yet.. I can't even beat some of the races on A class because I don't have fast enough cars.. BTW which race gives you the most cash in the shortest amount of time?

A1 is the easiest to get money in A class.

But when you unlock S class is A3 the fastest and easiest way to get money=)

after watching your video (from driver's point of view), I was finally able to pass the level....... to win that's another thing, but THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I cannot tell you how frustrating it was. My original style of trying to pass the level, was literally knocking out cars on my way to the finish line.... I was able to get 5th place, but no better. I owe you dinner :)

Hey believe me... I know how hard it was. I sat in front of my TV for 13 hours straight to beat it. This might sound hard to believe, but once you do it, it is actually quite easy. You just can't mess up. At all. Keep trying bro, and let me know how it turns out.

well the traction control, whether or not you use any active steering/stability control/break bias/abs, sorry i know its alot to ask!

Traction set to 1, no active steering, no stability control either. Anti-lock brakes at 1. I believe the brake bias was fairly high, 7 or 8 at the front and rear. With this setup, you still need a fair bit of good throttle control, but it's not totally insane. :) As you can see around 1:19 and 3:34, you can't just jab the trottle, as I accidentally did, but if you do, the small bit of traction control used will correct it without messing up your driving line too much. Try it out and let me know.

Well done. This is one seriously tough event. I just completed this tonight after countless attempts. It's so so frustrating to get penalties for the slightest nudges. You are right though, it does get a lot easier after you've finally got gold. I guess the pressure is finally off once you've won it at least once.

Thank you, and congratulations on your own win! It is indeed, fairly difficult, to say the least. I believe a lot of the difficulty comes from too much thinking. It might sound strange, but I believe that if all you are thinking about is how far away that GT-R is, you are distracting yourself from the actual driving.

If the answer is no, this will be a strange question, but are you from GameFAQS?

You're also right about too much thinking...It can be a little unnerving to think that that thing is so far ahead. The pressure is really on when it all comes down to that last chicane and you know that the slightest little bump could destroy your chances. Great race.

Yeah, if I mess up, that last little chicane is usually where it would happen. Oh, and GameFAQS is as gaming website/message board. Most of it is stupid, but some of it is alright. I thought I recognized your screenname. A better board to check out is "gt4fox(dot)proboards(dot)com"­, if you want. It is a good place to talk about the Gran Turismo series, and actually just about anything.

Nice sound track =P Did it take a lot of attempts to get it right? I use the same racing line as you, but now and again I just get penalized for the slight nudges when over taking. Its very frustrating.

It used to be hard, but now I do this race all the time. By winning this race a few times, you can get 100,000cr. in about 10 minutes. That is a good payout for one lap, I think. Those penalties do get rather annoying, don't they? :)
