when do you ever see a piece of flashing coming out fro the framework of a building? answer... never. There should be a good quality caucking around the peimeter of the frame to not allow water to get in. Go to any walmart or target where the entire building is block and caucking is used to repel any water. This guy here in Chicago is an a hole who reads to many books and has no idea what goes on in the field!!!

@micksmariano I'll ignore your disgusting name calling and address your point. "This guy" has done 1000s of home inspections, trains home inspectors, and is one of the most accomplished inspectors in Chicago. And, he knows how to spell the building components that you can't spell.
