What happens when a queen is removed from a hive or killed? What happens to the rest of the bees and the beehive? Do they become mercenaries for other hives or something? DO they sell the hive to other queen bees? Do baby queen bees take over?

@F00LSG0LD215 If they can, the hive will make a new queen. The bees build a special queen cell containing a fertilized egg and feed it royal jelly. Sometimes they will create more than one queen and the first to hatch will kill the unhatched one(s). The hive will sometimes make a new queen when the existing queen weakens or gets old, or when the hive becomes overcrowded and instinct compels the bees to prepare to swarm and create a new colony elsewhere.

@Stupidzxxz did you know that without bees many ecosystems would collapse, and human beings would have a much harder time surviving, if at all? Bees are not aggressive like wasps and will not sting you for no reason, if you let them land on you, they will likely lick you and fly away. They also produce delicious honey!

@aceman4564564 Bees like dark, places where the will be protected from birds and other predators. That is why they can be found inside trees and sometimes in the walls of buildings. If there is a crack where light gets in they will seal it with propollis. The beekeeper will put them in a place where they have a small entry to protect and have good forage and water. Everybody benefits including the bees, crops and beekeeper.
