your so pretty and your hair also,I just want to thank you for sharing what you know and also what you use to the world,I'm a inspiring cosmetologist and your helping a great deal!!!Black is beautiful!!!
I know that Mane n Tail shampoo has sulfates in it, but do you use the M n T conditioner?... and if so, what were your experiences with the conditioner?
Before I used all natural products I did use Mane n Tail along with Pantene products. I really didn't have much of an experience to mention other than dry, brittle hair. Now that I use all natural product I would never go back. I love the moisture that natural products allow my hair to have. I have not been shampooing my hair for the last 6 months. I have been Co-washing with OyinHandmade, using veggie glycerin spray and also using Qhemet biologics Olive & Honey Hydrating balm.
your hair is so beautiful but i wonder how hard is it to comb on a regular basis. My hair is shorter and i takes me beyond AGES i comb from the tip up but it takes for ever and their are many knots and my curls are so tight!
Thank you. I only comb my hair when it's wet, never when it's dry. I also have been combing my hair when it has conditioner in it (Honey Hemp Conditioner by Oyin Handmade). It makes it easier to comb when I rinse it out. Much less tangles this way.

wait so your actually saying your 100 percent african?because every african i know who immigrated here normally doesn't call themselves by black they call themselves by a nationality-like Jamacian or egyptian-not black.
I'm saying that I'm black. You can interpret what you want to but that's what I am. And isn't it wonderful that Africa has so many different looking people on that wonderful continent.

black are the people who have bloodline that traces back to hundreds of years ago, how it it possible to have pure blood? Just because your parents are black doesn't mean your not mixed.
and i'm saying with anything not just white blood thought you and any other black has a very good chance you have some "white" (european)blood.I'm speaking on ethnic terms not race.
That was my huge jug of Dr. Bronner's Liquid Peppermint soap. But now I use the Dr. Bronner's Shikakai Soap (spearmint/peppermint). It's much better on my hair. I still use that big jug for my body.
Have you tried organic coconut oil? It makes my hair too oily but I love the smell. I am looking for something that makes my hair lay down because it is so frizzy. It is soft though and I do attribute that to the natural products that I use. My hair is a lot easier to comb - that's for sure. I do not know what my hair type is because I think I have a mixture and cannot just go with one type. Part of my natural hair is straight and part is wavy and curly and I know somewhere in there kinky too!
Yep, I use organic coconut oil as a pre-shampoo in a mayo conditioner. I love coconut oil. I also have about 3 different textures in my hair. Check out my Nappy Update video, it has grown a bit.
