  • Nikita! <3

  • First part sounds similar to strange music on some of the SH games...

  • class

  • Sounds like Come on by The Verve

  • THIS IS AMAZING

  • i like this song its a shame its about coventry city

  • sounds like a bit of led zeppelin influence...

  • this song reminds me of the band "the verve" those guys were fucking brilliant

  • One BEAST of a song!!!!!!!!!!

  • @GlueyPorch

u know fuck all about british music then son

  • You don't like it because it's against you! Post modern british social culture is shit! You killed The Libertines and let the Keizer Cheifs conservative indie rock take over. You believed the NME's lies when they made the Strokes freedoms into rules. You made Paul Weller dissapointed, when will you learn? For fucks sake, what's with Simon Cowards crack fuckter? What's with the radio? What's with the venues being impossible to play in unlless you kiss their arse?

  • @desasterz ...

I mean when I came over I really expected Arctic Monkeys. I'm in a Parisian band and we all talked about how people in England get it. This is where the Who are from, this is where the Clash are from. This was our influence. I thought this was England...

  • @desasterz Chart music is shit as a whole. Look at the French music charts, just the same as ours full of boring RnB. The whole world is full of retards, the human race has really de-evolved.

  • hear on NIKITA!!!!!!

  • this song is great, just takes too long to get going!

the enemy dissapeared up their own arse on the second album......poor!

  • @DuckmanDrake1 This is mainstream shite! It's plaigarism as well. Every tracks a rip-off of someone else.

  • The intro to this sort of reminds me of the intro to Morning Glory

  • intro is like swamp song - oasis. (;

  • i really like this song

  • Just remember this, everyone thinks the music they listen to is the dogs nuts, and its hard to accept when someone else dosent feel your vibe about a certain album, frustrating i know......but thats just life. Personally its not often these days when i buy an album i actually like every track on it,but i think this album is excellent, and i am a universal soilder when it comes to music,i like lots inc oasis, courteeners, ocean colour scene, the jam and the arctics.

  • the dogs bollox:)

  • tune!!!

  • this tune jus gets better n better evrytym i hear it

  • Aww i love tom hes cute when he talks :)

  • this shit is extreme road trip music right there!!!

  • British rock n roll bands are kicking ass as usual! No one even gets close to the talent uk has at the moment!

  • itsgreat to see young guys playing genuine rock n roll.and heres a guy who can sing

  • As an American, I'm going to have to bow down and agree with ya there.

  • stop generalising, britans also producing shit and doesnt broadcast the good stuff, i have to listen to Galaxie radio at my school all the time and i feel sick!!

  • shut up! you sound like daimon albarn

  • @farmerwright ha h aha haaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! don't ake me laugh! Two words, Simon Coward! Listen to the shit on the radio for goodness sakes!

  • @desasterz why would i listen to the shite on the radio! For real music you have to go find it! Not sit on your lazy ass waiting for it to find you! As for Simon Cowall, he is a business man making it big with commercial teen pop music, he bares no affiliation to uk rock or underground, where the real music comes from!!

  • @farmerwright Totally!

  • @farmerwright Agree, completely, I mean name 3 bands around the world that come close to "The enemy" "Kasabian" and "Muse"

  • @farmerwright have 2 agree with u so fuckn true!!!!

  • @farmerwright You commented this two year ago.. And still, no one gets close to the UK talent.. very sad!

  • mint song

  • the best song on the new album

  • deffo

  • Pointless!?! Gillzboy96?? you need to get your head out of your ass. This is an amazing song. such a cool riff. Builds up nicely, and such a beautiful voice.

  • sound like Stone roses ( last album ) but i love the enemy ! they are young and talented !!

  • Also, you clearly don't avoid it like the plague, you spend your time listening to it in the background as you post comments in the hope that someone will think, "Oh, this guy really knows what he's talking about ,"and then get a false sense of satisfaction when you get a thumbs up but sorry to tell you but it's not gonna happen this time.

  • It's funny to see how wrong you are. You clearly really dislike The Enemy as you are willing to believe that anybody who likes them is scum. I'm sorry to inform you that I am not and neither are my friends so suck on my big hairy gonads you stuck up prick! Don't post hateful comments about a song when most people on this page love this band. Pointless. Get a life.

  • 3. You clearly had a dislike towards the enemy before you listened to this song so you have basically come here to pick a fight with The Enemy fans. I have one thing to say to you bluejay, get a life

  • this song sonds better with shit speackers...

  • its actualli meant to.lol..they recorded on cassette to giv it that raw music feeling

  • amazing!!!

  • cardigan

  • so your tellin me the enemy arent the best band ever!

  • this is for their large gigs when they are about to come to the stage. Kind of like how muse used Knights of Cydonia at Wembley Stadium

  • Anyone else just hearing I wanna be adored by the stone roses, in that first 1.40? it's the story of the album: trying to replicate the best bits of brit pop... and in my opinion failing :)

  • Anyone else finding negative comments from harryspoonpotter on just about every enemy clip on youtube. personal grudge or just too much time on his hands? you decide.

  • I put some positive shit too. But it is true, their new album is pretty shit. live i think they're amazing

  • The intro sounds like the begining to the swamp song by oasis!!! check out the masterplan cd!

  • yeah you're not wrong there

  • the first 1mins 40secs sucks ass... and is well pointless, they should of just never put it in

  • are you kidding? It's the best intro to an album since "Sleeping Lessons" by the shins

  • am i kidding...? no it is just a horrible sounding screeching noise with some random drum beats in it. just what led zepplin used to do... and copying doesnt make them good

  • you're right copying doesn't make them good. hence, the album is utter shite.

  • oh ye cus hu r u

  • Zep were quality tho ;P

  • start the gig with this!!!!!

  • Saw this at the start of their big weekend set- blew me away. The riff sounds a bit like Led Zep and what a rocking tune for the Enemy. This and no time for tears are clearly utter enemy classics but from what ive heard of the rest of the album it sounds a bit soft and drab- can anybody confirm wether its worth buying the whole album or just these 2 songs?

  • It is worth it, 51st State is a quality track, and Silver Spoon is different but good. It's a new sound for them

  • Dont break the red tape is good aswell

  • you mean london calling :P

  • Haha

Sure , they all sound like other song

    But who cares?

  • yeah its a decent album i suppose but their first was better eh?

  • buy the album. it grows on you, no doubt bout that

  • Does sound like Oasis at the start but changes. 1.40 in sends shivers down my spine!

  • lol! how fucking 70s does this sound. it's a big rocker by numbers! so boooooring

  • Great tune. Just to end the Oasis riping off the Beatles arguement (which is sooooo tired and old) Noel Gallagher has never denied his favourite bands influencing his songs, look at Cigarettes and Alcohol, he took a shit T Rex riff and wrote a song that defined a generation 'Is it worth the aggravation to find yourself a job when there's nothing worth working for?' Fucking genius

  • Get it On is great

  • i love the enemy they fucking kick assss!

  • Everyone's got their influences... Even the Beatles and others did... Doesn't mean they weren't the business... Oasis r the shiz and this album is class. nuff said!

  • stop wasting your time finding theyre songs on youtube just to post silly immature comments then you twat.

  • lmao, kaiser chiefs!?

    are you being serious mate?

    get a fucking grip!

  • Yeah, this music is pitiful. Anyone who likes this needs kneecapped

  • anyone who likes you needs needs kneecapped!

  • Comment removed

  • Edwardscissorhands10

    You Fuckn Loser

  • CAST!

not as good as the first album for me like seen these about 9 times superb wouldnt mind seeing sum of this live see how they do it like!

  • everyone rips off everyone nowadays oasis ripped of loads of good bands

  • long time before the vocals come,, i like

    it though

and think a remix of this song

    would sound really good.

  • Great song

If your complaining about this type of music why the fuck are you listennig to it?

Some people are so fucking retarded they deserve to be bloody shot.

  • This song is pretty good, sounds a little bit like one of And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead songs.

  • i do love oasis but sam's cough does have a fair point haha

  • Garbage. I can't even understand what he's singing. Probably about how 'fucked up stuff is' - as the NME put it. Oh yeah, it's those 'critics' and 'experts' they're all wrong... it's us retarded 'working class' fans that are right...yeah....fookin anthem yeah

  • yeah, and you're the biggest cunt on here, mate

  • r u compolimentin um cus i mean noel gallagher is the best song writer of r time or wt

  • Tom Clarke is a freak

i love The Enemy, but i dislike Tom

  • @BIuejay lol

  • this is a tune, once it gets to rocky bits its an amazing song.. this album has grown on me big time.

  • One of the only good songs on the album

  • very rare song ( 0:00 - 1:39 )

  • whre did this come from?

When they arrived they were jst a little rock and roll band from coventry, singing about being young and hopeless!!!

Two and bit years later they're making absolute anthems.....

    ...fucking quality

  • u should go see em live. they opened with this tune n tore the fuckin roof off at brixton

  • can't understand why this album has been slated, it's fuckin quality. don't matter i suppose, people didn't like what's the story at first...........

  • The difference is... Oasis didn't blatantly rip off other bands tunes on that album. The Enemy are a disgrace!

  • So why are you watching their videos then you fuckwit?

  • *Cough*The Beatles*cough*

  • are you takin the piss? go listen to The Hindu Times then go listen to same size feet by the Stereophnics same thing and Word Gets Around is about 6 years older then The Hindu Times and its quite ironic saying im outta time was oasis' tribute to John Lennon what Oasis song isnt?

  • Erm, you can see oasis ripping off a beatles song is lots of their songs. One of the songs of their new album sounds EXACTLY like dear prudence at one point.

I love oasis, just what you are saying is wrong tbh.

  • yer bt the dear prudence thing was totally deliberate to be fair, they knew what they were doing

  • Yea but I just used that as an example, there have copied off the beatles in many other ways.

I do love oasis, but it is true.

I mean one of the videos has a yellow submarine in it, that cant be more of an obvious referance to the beatles can it? lol

  • quality!

  • i just hope their whole album isn't like this, you can hardly understand what he's saying lol

  • good
